Beautiful location. The accomodation was comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and great insulation so that the temperature stayed steady and warm the whole time without needing the heater. The beds were comfortable and it was very peaceful. The outlook is amazing.

Unfortunately, the dog yard set-up in the renovated cottages is poor. The fenced yard turns out to be a desultory concrete strip behind the cottage with no overhead shelter and no access from the cottage. Unless your dog is happy to have a wee on the lawn in front whilst ignoring the grazing wallabies and other wildlife, you're in for a struggle to keep them contained. The older cottages still have a decent grassy fenced yard in front, so I would recommend those if you're bringing a furry friend.

Tricky to walk to beach with family. We didn't have a map of the Johanna seaside accommodation, so didn't know where to walk to beach and to pool. I thought we had direct beach access which wasn't the case. When I had booked, i asked the question about heating in the rooms..I was told there were electric blankets which was not the case. There needs to be some option for heating in the rooms.
