Azenhas do Mar Cottage by Lisbon Dreams (98992/AL) is a cozy little holiday house located in the iconic village of Azenhas do Mar. You will love the breathtaking Atlantic Ocean views and the short ride to Sintra, the fairytale Unesco Heritage village. The house is perfect for couples and small families.
THE SPACE
The purpose of our Azenhas do Mar Cottage is to offer to its guests a little relaxing hideout all year around. Although summer by the sea is great, do not discount the charm of other seasons! The off-season tends to be the most lovely season in this little village. The winterish wild sea, the crisp ocean breeze are great to reinforce our contact with the beauty of nature and ourself..
The comfortable master bedroom, the high speed Wifi and the fireplace for winter are just tiny bits of this experience. However the true "experience" here is the possibility to spend few days in this amazing little village by the Ocean.
GUEST ACCESS
Our Azenhas do Mar Cottage is made of the master bedroom, an internal room connected to the bathroom and a combined living and dining area. The kitchen corner is well equipped with all necessary kitchenware and appliances. Additionally the house has a little terrace, perfect for some sun, sea views and BBQ.
The master bedroom has a double bed (140 cm x 200 cm) and clothes rack; the internal room has also a clothes rack and a double bed (140cm x 200 cm). The bathroom, accessible through the internal bedroom, has a shower corner, toilet and a washing machine. The shared living and dining area have a sofa, cable TV and dining table.
In the kitchen corner you can find oven and stove, filter & capsule coffee machine and tea kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. There is all necessary tableware and cooking-ware.
The house is most comfortable for 2-3 adults or small families. Please be aware that access to bathroom is through one of the bedrooms. All guests are provided with bedlinen and shower towels. Baby bed and high chair are also available upon request.
GUEST INTERACTION
Our family & Lisbon Dreams team are available to provide the guests with all the necessary touristic and practical information regarding our house, the village and its surrounding areas. The village has been part of our family for at least three decades already!
The house is always prepared for self-checkin.

* Baby equipment (baby cot & high chair) is available upon request (free).
* Washing machine, drying rack and iron available.
* Transfer from the airport can be arranged (for extra fee).
* WiFi all over the house
* Dogs accepted for extra fee.
* Cable TV in the living room
* Parking available on the streets of the neighbourhood
* Please note that from the 1st of March 2019 a Sintra Municipal Tourist Tax of EUR 1 per person per night is not included in the total price and should be paid apart. This tax is charged to guests aged 13 and older. It is subject to a maximum amount of EUR 3€ (3 nights) per guest.

We booked this because I wanted to be near the sea = we were actually high up on a rocky promontory but that was fine, view was great and we were not in the midst of loads of people. One issue is parking - we had no trouble but I can see during busy times that there may be. But there seems to be enough, just need to be creative. The house was clean and has everything - no AC but with the sea air, probably no need,. It does take time to get used to the European way of heating water for showers [gas turns on and heats the water when needed] but that's not a problem, just need to get used to it. I did have Q from time to time, especially on best way to leave to get to the airport. They were very prompt and helpful in providing the information. We had a great time and would return again.
