A great choice for an inexpensive overnight stay.

For a reasonable price we had accommodation with breakfast, which wasn't the most varied, but good.

Just great!

Great dinners, we had WHALE steak and Boknafesk, both local delicacies. Perfectly made. A stuffed VÅGEHVAL on the outside of the hotel shows the size of the whales that are hunted int the district. Nyksund is a fishing village near by that should be visited, also the harbor is interesting as it is a living fishing harbor with processing industries etc.

Go somewhere else

They checked me in late

I stayed one night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience due to how the staff handled a simple payment error. I genuinely believed I had paid in advance through the booking agency, and upon realizing the mistake, I immediately responded, apologized, and offered multiple payment methods—including card details and a bank transfer. Despite my prompt communication, I was met with hostility and threats of police involvement, even before my messages were properly read. It was only after repeated attempts that the payment was finally processed—something I was always ready and willing to do. At some point, I had to copy and paste the emails in the booking.com app as she was trying to misled the investigation. I understand mistakes happen, but the aggressive tone and lack of professionalism shown in handling this situation made what could have been a minor hiccup unnecessarily stressful. I would have hoped for a more respectful and understanding approach, especially when a guest is clearly cooperating.

Decent stay at an old-fashioned hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff - great service! Good location - grocery stores and service stations nearby, short walk into town Free parking out front. Able to do some laundry. Pleasant hotel, simple but tasty breakfast

Wifi connection was sometimes slow and intermittent. Room wasn't as clean as it could have been. Old-fashioned, in need of a modern renovation. Room stuffy, lacks good ventilation.

Basic, clean, comfortable.

It was very convenient location for hiking in the area. It was early season so not much was open. Had a hearty breakfast especially nice when hiking. Room was basic and clean.

OK hotel with big rooms. Good breakfast. Nothing to complain about if you need a place to stay in that location.

Extremely overpriced for the standard of rooms. Wouldn't mind the price if the rooms, and especially the bathrooms were renovated.

The staff very professional and helpful. The site is gorgeous. Rooms are spacious, very clean. The bathroom is good as well. Everything is Nice in this hotel.

Very good

Stayed here serval times it's easy to find in a blizzard, follow the road into Myre and once you see the whale turn into the hotel carpark! The receptionist speaks good English and is very helpful getting me the English menu when I said I would be dining. The food is heavily fish based as you would expect but good. There is a small supermarket across the road open until late if you need anything.

Altes Gebäude, mit guter und funktionierenden Ausstattung

Das Zimmer war, besonders im Vergleich zu Scandic Hotels in Norwegen, grosszügiger und hatte trotz 3 Betten auch noch ein Tisch und zwei Stühle. Das Bad und Haus ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles hat funktioniert. Das Hotelrestaurant hat täglich geöffnet, bietet feine Kuchen an und ein vielfältiges Menüangebot, was uns bei schlechtem Wetter entgegen kam.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok, aber nicht so speziell und da nur wenige Gäste da waren, wirkte alles sehr verlassen.

Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hotel hat eine gute Lage. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Essen ala Card sehr gut. Es hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen.

Aamiainen oli perushyvä. Hotellin ravintolasta sai maukasta ruokaa ja palvelu oli nopeaa. Vastaanotto oli ystävällistä saapuessamme.

Pratique

L'hôtel est situé en bord de route avec un grand parking. Il propose des chambres au confort basique mais propres. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux, servi sous forme de buffet. L'hôtel est doté également d'un restaurant servant des plats locaux à prix corrects. Bien pratique car il n'y a pas beaucoup d'autres options. Un supermarché se trouve juste en face et un immense frigo est à disposition dans le couloir avec des bacs en plastique pour entreposer ses affaires.

L'espace n'est pas énorme dans la chambre avec 3 lits. La salle de bain est petite et on ne peut rien y poser.
