Country House

It was fabulous, wonderful house and the owner Michael is very kind and helpful. I recommend this house absolutely.

Location is very good as it situated in a very convenient part of the island: some 10 minutes ride with a car from the airport (however, no noise from the airplanes); some 10-15 minutes ride with a car from the main roads leading to the western and southern parts of the island (very useful, should there be a need to choose between windy and calm beaches of the island and/or sightseeing objects); parking is available both inside on the yard or just by the gates on the street (we used the latter option). Location will suit the visitors seeking for a calm place as well as it is surrounded by individual houses (in that part of the town we didn't see any bars, clubs, etc. except for a Taverna some couple of hundred meters away). The house is spacious (yet cosy) and clean. It is equipped with all the items needed for a longer stay (we - family of two adults and two kids - lived there for two weeks), i.e. dishwashing machine, washing machine, air conditioning, etc. Not to mention other touches that make the stay even better: outdoor furniture, see-saw, grill and other. The same applies to the kitchen - it has all of the daily required dishes and cutlery as well as big selection of items that one needs once in a while. There are two spacious terraces too. One is orientated to the front yard, the other faces the backyard. Both equipped with furniture. So there is always a choice. We loved the possibility to enjoy our meals outside under peacefull breeze and shade. We are very thankful to our host Michael for his hospitality and helpfulness. He responded our inquiries very quickly giving clear and exact answers, direct locations in messenger, etc. In addition to above he provided us with fruits and products for our first dinner/breakfast (we arrived late at night on Saturday). All in all we consider it to be a perfect get away for vacation that we would be pleased to visit again.

The house is located in the nice and quiet village Maritsa with a large number of taverns nearby. Communication was very good and timely. The host is very helpful and everything we could think of was provided for on our arrival: He even set up a large bowl of fresh fruit and filled the refridgerator with bottled water, cold beer, and more fruit. We were even allowed to pick fruit from the trees in the garden (grapes, pomegranate, figs, ...). Coffee and tea for breakfast were available as well as trash bags, laundry detergent etc. There was absolutely nothing amiss!

We really enjoyed our stay, so there is hardly anything negative to say. The only thing that was not in best shape was the bedroom door, so it was a bit noisy when opened or closed if you did not apply sufficient pressure.

It is located in the village. Calm, quiet environment. Around 5 minutes walk there are many taverns and cafes. To the main beaches on the Mediterranean coast about 15-20 minutes by car. To the airport 10 minutes by car. For a relaxing holiday is the best place.
