Casa Volcán de Ye

Tolle Lage, Sicht auf Vulkan, guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Privatparkplatz, eigenständiges Haus, grosser Aussenraum, helle Fensterfront, bei gutem Wetter ganzstags Sonne.

Wir waren vor 4 Jahren schon mal da und fanden die Unterkunft sehr gut. Das hat sich leider geändert: für uns war das Haus schlecht geputzt, über fanden sich Haare, Staub, Spuren von Vorgängern. Die grossen Fenster waren total verspritzt, die Aussenmöbel verwittert, das Sonnendach kaputt, schmuddelige, durchgesessene Sofas, fleckige Tischdecke, Heizgeräte die nicht funktionieren, Schimmel und Salpeter an den Wänden. Schwierige Alarmanlage, Überwachungskameras im Innenraum. Das alles ist sehr schade, denn die Unterkunft hätte das Potential für mehr! Das stundenlange Gebell der beiden Podencos im nahen Zwinger, war für uns als Tierfreunde sehr belastend und störend.

Escogí el alojamiento por la ubicación, ver un volcán desde el jardín es un lujo, pero el alojamiento superó las expectativas en cuanto a confort y utensilios. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para estar una semana sin tener que comprar cosas básicas como papel higiénico, papel de cocina, detergente de lavadora y lavavajillas.. etc, además de toallas, sábanas y mantas. Es la última casa del pueblo, literalmente, pero en ningún momento hay sensación de inseguridad, todo lo contrario. El pueblo es muy pequeño, pero tiene un restaurante asador que recomiendo mucho. Estuvimos como en casa.

All the facilities were there and the vulcano next to the house was pretty cool. However, for us it not outweight the downsides

There were 2 major deal breakers, besides dome smaller issies that are mentioned in other reviews. First of all, there were 2 security cameras ('fish-eye') in the middle of the living room. This felt really uncomfortable, since you have no idea who might be watching in. You cannot deactivate them, the only solution is to cover them with a towel. Secondly, walking in the garden with our little one led to very aggressive neighbour dogs going off and trying to break a self made, not very solid looking fence. The same happened when we walked to a cafeteria, very alarmed guarding dogs trying to jump over fences. Both experiences made it very unfriendly for kids and to us, we would have not picked tbe place if we would have been ware. Now we decided to leave after 2 nights instead of 7.
