Location very convenient for all at Ventnor, park over the road so great for the dog we took with us. Host very response regarding any and all communication. Even booked the ferry for us at a discount….superb. The key pick up was easy, the kitchen was well equipped for anything you felt like making. Bathrooms very nice. It was an easy walk to the front promenade or thru the gardens to walk along the cliff to the front.
My thoughts are that the upholstery was old and tired, including cushions. I put the ones in my bedroom straight in the wardrobe as I didn’t even want to look at them……..but linen etc was crisp and lovely. The two didn’t correspond 😕

The house is a substantial Victorian villa with attractive architectural features. The apartments are well laid out and every possible facility is provided, including luxury fittings, a lockable bike store and outside seating areas. The hosts met us on arrival and David and Anna were most helpful. The town has some excellent restaurants, especially "Stripped" which is a Romanian/Mediterranean fusion.
It was not a problem for us because we wanted a week of exercise on the bikes, but the island can be hilly and the walk down to the beach at Ventnor is quite steep. Anyone with access challenges might want to discuss with the hosts before booking.
