River Edge Resort Nepal

Such a beautiful, calm, and welcoming space. The road to Chitwan was closed, so we had to find somewhere to stay last minute, and we ended up arriving around midnight. They were understanding and helpful despite the late hour. The rooms were very clean, and we fell asleep to the sound of the river and woke up to a beautiful morning. Breakfast was great, and we tried slack-lining. They also have a volleyball court, which was a nice surprise. We left late in the morning but are already planning to come back for rafting. Thank you again Sali for your hospitality!

All was good

Went there to paddle the river. The team on duty went out of their way to make me welcome. This is the off season so they made a special effort to do the river trip with me. Equipment was very modern and well kept. I was a bit out of practice so I felt in safe hands with my guides. Accomodation was great. The place has been built from scratch and with a lot of thought. Just what you need when doing river trips in Nepal.

Amazing location with beautiful views and tranquil surroundings. Wonderful staff; really attentive and courteous. They were even happy to prepare a very early breakfast for me, before I hit the road. A rustic vibe - and a fan was provided to keep me cool during the night. If you're travelling by motorbike, driving north a ways from the hotel is an amazing experience too - and a change of pace from the highway.

Slightly tough to actually find the place, as the sign was partially hidden by grass. (But the remote location could also be seen as a plus?) Also, the staff didn't appear to have been informed about my booking, so they seemed somewhat surprised by my arrival? (But they more than made up for that with a quick reaction and delightfully attentive service.)
