Overall the stay was nice, very spacious and straight forward. One big complain was the Heater downstairs. All of us were freezing downstairs because the heater wasn't working. Only the one in the living room and master bedroom was. Also expect the place to be a bit dusty my allergies were through the roof. The couch in the living room is a bit dated in my opinion. May be time for the property owner to do an upgrade. But if you are looking for views. This spot is Amazing. The pictures from the listing definitely don't do it justice.

This property is beautiful and was very roomy. My entire group loved everything about it especially the view from the outdoor deck. The jacuzzi was very warm and the kitchen was fully equipped. Would definitely come back here!

The floor plan of the home was very nice and the back view was amazing. The home has plenty of room to where you do not feel crowded. The downfall is the home was lacking attention to issues such as the cleanliness and items that needed fixing around the house. The home obviously receives a quick run over before turning it over to the next renter.

We really enjoyed the home. Space was great - I really liked the high ceilings and the bunk bed room for the kids. It is close to Tahoe Donner and slope up wasn't too steep even if heavy snow we were able to get up and down. Owner was responsive to our questions. I would stay here again.

DISHONEST HOST, SEVERAL KEY AMENITY ISSUES, which the host or the cleaner was NO HELP in addressing them, and the host was DISHONEST about the issues and technically called us liars! Also, the Vrbo customer service was absolutely no help and ridiculously called the issues "minor issues". Here are the issues: 1. The hottub (Spa): Very frustrating. The hot tub kept SHUTTING DOWN, the water was COLD, and really DIRTY!! It was clearly not cleaned after the previous guests! After following up with the host, the cleaner suggested to turn it on and off. However, this only solved the issue for a few minute. The hottub was one of the main reasons why we had chosen this place. We could have booked much better and much cheaper places without a hottub. So technically, we wasted our money for this place that said had a hottub but actually didn’t. The host claimed they had cleaned and checked the water pH before our check in and the hottub was so hot that it tripped the breaker. However, the water was still cold and dirty even after 24 hours of not using it. The maintenance person told us that the reason these issues was the low level of water inside the tub. The water level was like this when we checked in. They did not know the problem but kept blaming that on us. TOTAL SCAM...WE HAVE PICTURES OF THIS. 2. BBQ Grill: The grill was NOT functional. The cleaner called and said SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! NO WORKING PROPANE TANK FOR a place in this price range! We bought another propane tank for $29 ourselves and have the receipt. Setting aside that $29 for the tank, the Vrbo support called this "a minor issue" (how is it minor?). The host said they had filled up both propane tanks for the BBQ grill and we used them all. Also he claimed his cleaner called and resolved the issue for us which is TOTAL DISHONESTY as she exactly said SHE DOEN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO! We were not able to grill anything we planned after five hours trying and and we had to throw everything away. Vacation ruined!! 3. Audio System was not working, and NO help in this regard!!! 4. The house was NOT CLEAN. There were many dirts on the sofas, on the dinning table, and on the dishes. 5. No fire starter or lighter for the fire place!! THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL JOKE AND SCAM!!! If you want to RUIN your vacation, definitely get this place!

We had so much fun! The house was just what we needed. We had 6 adults, 2 teen girls, 2 teen boys, 1 elementary aged kid and 2 four year old boys! We enjoyed cooking together breakfast and dinners, and enjoyed spending time together! We loved the lakes, hiking, adventure parks, and all around just time spent together as a family! Thank you for the amazing time!!!

The home was amazing, the view from the back deck was incredible, watching the deer, chipmunks and quail was quite entertaining for all of us. Even though the time we were there it was smoky from the CA fires, we had plenty to do indoors with game nights, movies and lots of cooking in the large kitchen. Family dinners around the huge dining table were a blessing and the evening and morning dips in the private hot tub were so relaxing. We had a fairly clear day to rent and ride bikes along the Truckee River and that was very fun. Overall fantastic experience, the home was gorgeous and we will definitely be back again. Hoping to make it an annual event for family get togethers. We give it 5 stars!

We had a group of 12 people, 5 adults and 7 kids (age 11-17). There was plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out. The view from the back deck was amazing with beautiful sunsets. The house does not have AC so it can get a bit warm with the sun shining in but there was generally a slight breeze if you open the windows. The kitchen was nice but it did lack a few basic utensils such as measuring spoons and dry measuring cups. Some updated utensils such as spatulas, tongs, etc would be nice. Some additional mixing bowls and storage containers would be nice as well. There was no laundry detergent and only a few pods for the dishwasher so we did have to go out to buy those items. Overall, the house was lovely and our group really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We were charged for a broken blind that was stuck and couldn't be closed, which wasn't due to abuse; it just didn't work well. We had purchased the damage insurance, so we didn't make a deal of it.Overall, I would recommend, based on the location, the views and the comfortable living spaces provided for all.

This home is gorgeous with a view from the deck you could stare at all day. Terrific BBQ there as well. Very spacious and comfortable for the 4 members of my family. It could have been cleaner, however. There was a lot of hair in the shower of the downstairs master BR, and the blanket in the double twin bedroom smelled like urine. One more thing to be aware of - the paperwork sent by the owner said that network TV was available in the downstairs bunk room - but that is not the case. Didn’t miss not having it anyway. Overall, a very enjoyable place to stay.

This is my second time staying at this home and it is as beautiful as I remember it. There was no snow in Truckee when we arrived but we were welcome with overnight fresh powder overnight on the beautiful deck view. Plenty of rooms and separate spaces for everyone and very clean. I would stay here again.

This house is amazing. One of the best views in town. I grew up here and was still amazed at the beauty and serenity afforded by the behemoth. So many rooms that one went unused. Well stocked kitchen. Fireplace was great, bring kindling for an east start. The only knock on the entire property is that the hdmi port on the tv isn’t working and it’s attached to the wall so you k my have access to the broken one. Otherwise every single facet of this property lived up to (and exceeded) expectations!

Overall the house is great: very spacious, great view, hot tub on the balcony. There were a few issues that did not let me rate it 5 star overall: 1) We did not find a tea pot. Serious problem for a winter dwelling. 2) Three bathrooms have non-working locks, and in the master bedroom one of the guests got locked inside. 3) Master bedroom does not get any heat at all, not from the main heating, nor from the gas fireplace. 4) gas fire place in the master bedroom smells a bit of propane 5) For the price I would expect a few more board games/books/entertainment

The house was not clean. Mold in showers, rings in toilet, dirt etc under beds. Not sure if it had been cleaned in a while since our arrival. Very few amenities. Knives could barely cut, no spices or literally anything. 2 pods for dish washer and washing machine. No cleaning supplies at all, only 1 roll paper towels. Really not what you expect from a vrbo listing. I myself rent a home on vrbo in the same price range and would never do this to my renters. I think this is what happens when you entrust a real estate agency instead of home owner to the rental process. We cleaned the house and had to purchase absolutely everything from cleaning products, garbage bags to spices and really basics.

I hosted a group on this property. The view from the deck and the family room/kitchen was amazing. Both mornings, I made some coffee and would go outside and watch the sunrise. Michael the owner and the Property Management group was very responsive. Downstairs was very nice and organized. Plenty of beds for a bigger group and a neat room with bunkbeds for kids. We stayed in the summer and it took about 10 minutes or so to get into town. The golf course and many hiking trails are less then 5-10 minutes away. The property also has a hot tub on the bottom deck. The only thing I was a little bummed about was the property didn't have basic cable and I enjoy putting on ESPN to catch up on the days sports. The TV was a smart TV and did have Netflix and other streaming options. I had a little trouble always remembering the key lock code, but I took a picture of it and kept it on my phone.

This house was very beautiful and great spaces for my entire group with plenty of room to break off into separate spaces to do anything we wanted. Lots of rooms and an amazing view with a snowy hill that made us itch to sled down. Only downsides (which is a very tiny one) is the need to buy basic supplies (garbage bags, detergent, etc) and lack of kitchen equipment but it was perfectly fine as the owner provided full and clear details on what was provided in the house so my group was fully prepared. We spent most of the weekend in the house relaxing and I would definitely rebook this place again.

House is nice when you walk in, but we discovered a lot of frauds! 1. Window was broken in one of the bedroom downstairs. 2. Some Shades didn't work and were broken 3. Kitchen Strove and Fan were dirty and not clean. 4. No hand soup, only 3 packs of dishwasher soaps, No detergent or Softener for the Laundry/Dryer. 5. The Water Pot from the Coffee/Water machine was broke, water came out in brown color. 6. Most of the Cooking Utensils and cook wares are old and worn out. We wish the house has more personal touch, there are a lot of items are not included compared to some of the cabins in Tahoe or Truckee area. Although the house has nice view but we hardly go outside of the deck.

We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend for our family reunion and we had a fantastic time and plenty of space for everyone. The place is modern, clean, and has AMAZING views. Amenities were well stocked in dinnerware including some large plates/pots/pans to cook for our party of 14. We also used the gas grill on the deck which was great for BBQ. The interior decorations were also very unique and felt like a high-end hotel. The kids enjoyed the extra entertainment room (room with 4 bunks) as well as the quality foosball table in the loft. The property manager was also SUPER responsive leading up to and through our stay, and addressed our questions very promptly. Service was awesome, and we highly recommend this place!!
