Apartment Hoba by Interhome

The location of the apartman is very great, the view from the balcony is stunning. We liked the apartman a lot with our children. Everything was clean, the place was quite big for 2 adults and 2 children. I can imagine we come back if we come to Rab, about the location and view.

The problem was with the keys, that there was a wrong number at the booking.com confirmation, I called several times the number what was given (but it was an ald one probably). Finally we found the place, what was a little bit tricky, because Waze sent us somewhere else, and there was no answer for the phone, its negative. But when we found the apartman there was a paper with the phone number of the owner who answered than immediately. The other negative feedback, that it should be more accesories like bag for the garbarge or wine glasses, frying pan. To go there by car can be tricky for the most of the people, its a very steep road. I can imagine that in a rainy day, with manual car, people cannot manage to go to the parking place.

The apartment is well-equipped, is a really nice and cosy one for up to four persons and has a great view on the old town of Rab which is within walking distance.

We did not get along well with the owner. We arrived in six, two adults and four children, which was admittedly more than what we indicated, but two of the children are small (1.5 and 0.5), so we often do not indicate them at the booking stage (if no large apartments for 6 persons are available) and it is rarely a problem. Here the owner made a big fuss upon our arrival ('Two more children? Even a dog is better than two more children!') and asked for quite a lot of extra money. Also, consumables (oil, salt, sugar, soap) were not provided, which was also a bit of a disappointment.

This apartment has a great location, practically in the center. You have a few minutes walk to the old city of Rab. The view from balcony was amazing, you can even see the see. Nevertheless the apartment is situated in a really quiet street which was excellent for good night sleep.

I have to admit that I did not like the host. From the first communication it was obvious that they are not hospitable. You should be aware that check in is earliest at 4pm, which I find pretty unusual, since You practically pay that day without using the apartment until late afternoon. Also prior to the arrival host did not answer to my request via booking to give us earlier check in so I was forced to contact him via phone and in the end the host was not willing to gave us un earlier check in. Also I should mention that access road to the apartment is very steep and it is really hard to park car in apartment parking space. Finally the apartment did not have some essentials like soap or dish detergent which I find really problematic in these COVID times.
