Welcome to Avalon! This is our stunning, clean, Spanish Styled vacation rental home in the lower Arcadia area on the border of Phoenix and Scottsdale and less than 3 miles to the popular Old Town Scottsdale area. Enjoy the close by attractions like Camelback Mtn hiking, Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, Old Town Scottsdale, Desert Botanical Gardens, Phoenix Zoo, Golf and Giants Spring Training Stadium.
Large 4 bedroom 3 bath (2 showers and one showerub) that comfortably sleeps 8.
The home boasts an open floor plan that is separated in all the right places. Extensive renovations have been done inside and outside the home. Upon entry, you will enjoy the large open kitchen and dinning area. Cook like a gourmet chef on the high end 36" gas range and gather together around the massive granite topped kitchen island with seating for five. Just off the kitchen is a formal dinning space to enjoy your meals.
The Master bedroom has King bed and bathroom with shower. 2nd bedroom has Queen bed and bathroom with shower. 3rd bedroom has Queen bed and 4th bedroom has Full bed. The 3rd bathroom has a jetted bathtub with shower. All Bedrooms have Smart TVs with HULU and Disney+ and blackout curtains for a good night's sleep.
The main living space boasts vaulted ceilings, an atrium, fireplace, and wet-bar. This space is large and has tons of seating with a new cloud sofa sectional and reclining chair in addition to the bar seating. Enjoy the large flat screen TV with HULU and Disney+.
Step outside into your own private oasis. The covered patio has a large circular lounger and there is a flat screen TV mounted into the wall. The backyard has been extensively renovated with an outdoor kitchen, gas fireplace and fire pots, pebble-tec pool, and hot tub. Cook on the natural gas grill and enjoy multiple seating areas with outdoor sofa and chairs under the gazebo and outdoor table and chairs with umbrella. Take a dip in the pool that can be heated during the winter months and relax on the lounge chairs.
We lived in this home for 18 years so all of the upgrades have been done with a personal touch. The area is convenient to many local attractions and we love the area so much we purchased our current home just a few blocks away. If there is anything you need, we are close by to assist you.

My wife and I, along with our adult son, daughter, and son-in-law, visited the Scottsdale area in May 2026 and made the very wise decision to skip the hotel-room shuffle and rent a house instead. With all of us traveling together, we wanted enough space to spread out, relax, and avoid accidentally becoming a human pileup by day three. This place was exactly what we were hoping for—and then some.First off, check-in was so easy it almost felt suspicious. Seriously, it was probably the smoothest check-in we’ve ever had, and we’re seasoned VRBO veterans. The house was spotless, and the beds? Dangerously comfortable. The kind of comfortable where you start wondering if it would be socially acceptable to cancel your plans and just nap all day. In fact, I actually messaged Brad to ask what kind of mattresses they were because we’re now considering bringing that level of comfort into our everyday lives.Brad, by the way, was fantastic. Communication was quick, easy, and refreshingly stress-free—basically the vacation version of a unicorn.We were also thrilled by all the thoughtful extras around the house. Spices, condiments, cooking utensils—all those little things you never want to buy for a one-week stay but always wish were there. It felt like someone had actually thought through what real people need, which was greatly appreciated.And then there was the pool and hot tub, which we used almost every day. There’s just something magical about an early morning swim before coffee.

The home was very clean, spacious, and welcoming. It was perfect for our trip. The backyard was amazing pictures don’t do justice how awesome it is, the pool and hot tub were very clean and very nice! We will definately rebook when we visit the area. Location was very convenient to everywhere. Beds were very comfortable!

Property was awesome! Clean, spacious, comfy beds, awesome pool and spa. Back yard was great for morning coffee and evening relaxation. The neighborhood was quiet and very nice for early morning walks. We will for sure book again our next time in the area! Paul and Carol

Host was very welcoming, very responsive. The house is in a convenient area for major stores and within 10 minutes of Old Town. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor backyard area was lovely. The inside was pretty beat up. The cabinet finishes were coming off, towels stained, couch pilling. One of the bedrooms has a window to the interior of the house (not even sure this is legal). Two of the showers are so small it's hard to believe. The house is very dark, not many windows and even with the lights on we didn't get much light. We were extremely surprised with all five star reviews. This is not a five star house by any means.
