Convenient lodge just a few km from the Plitvice NP. This is convenient location if you have a car. Quiet location several hundred metres from the main road.
Owners were friendly and quick to respond to our queries.
Like many of these alpine lodges, the decoration is very dark! Dark browns, dark grey etc. So the house can feel quite dark even on sunny day.

This was a lovely little cottage, just a short drive from the entrance to Plitvice Lakes National Park. We only stayed one night and didn’t use all the facilities, but it had everything needed for a comfortable longer stay.
We enjoyed a homemade dinner and ate on the small balcony, which was a peaceful spot to relax. The area has a cozy, country feel—residents were out walking their pets, adding to the charm. It suited our family of four really well.
Communication with the host was smooth, and they were helpful with local information. The Wi-Fi was reliable, which was a bonus. The location is excellent if you're visiting the lakes.
A Small Tip
Not an issue, but it’s worth making sure you have all your food essentials before arriving. We were a little underprepared and forgot milk, and we didn’t spot a shop nearby—though that’s not to say there isn’t one. Since the cottage is located outside of town, a quick bit of research in advance could save you a trip later.
