Albergue Milladoiro

Nice hostel in Milladoiro. Room had 32 beds but each bed has light, charger and courtain for privacy. This is the last stop for the Portuguese route of el Camino. Most people were tired and kept to themselves so it was quiet. Bathrooms were super clean as well as the rest of the facilities. Tea and coffee with cookies always available. Good wifi and laundry services. Highly recommended if you have to make a last stop before Santiago.

It was clean and there were a lot of amenities provided such as laundry, refrigerator, and free coffee. The beds were comfortable (for bunk beds), they had privacy curtains, and they provided sheets and a towel. It was clean and the common area was nice.

It was so hot that it was hard to sleep, which is pretty much a deal breaker for me. The staff should also post signage asking people to socialize in common areas rather than the dormitories where people are resting.

Clean. Good lounge and kitchen. Hot showers. Good laundry.

Communication was exceptionally bad on check in, with one lady just smiling whilst another lady struggled. The hostel itself is great, but being made to wait 50 minutes when you have just walked 17km and no communication as to what is going on is frustrating. At 3 in the morning our dormitory started to flood, someone contacted the emergency number, and to be fair they did arrive to mend the broken connection and mop up very quickly, but it didn’t result in a restful nights sleep
