Location and Richard the host who was really kind, approachable and helpful.
Was a little cold in the front room, we should have taken advantage of putting the fire on.

Beautiful little cottage, so cosy and quaint. Amazing garden that goes on into the trees. Log burner was a bonus, great kitchen with all you need. Great shower, comfy bed & cottage was nice & clean. Great shops, restaurants and take aways literally 2/3 minute walk. 10 out of 10 from me
Parking, but this is mentioned in the write up. I did manage to park by the cottage

Great location,
Comfortable and cosy
Being of limited mobility, my friend and I struggled with the steps up to the entrance, car parking was on occasion difficult

Very clean and cosy. Especially like the model clean shower room.
Kitchen floor was still wet after check in.

Property was comfortable and well equipped.
Property situated on a main trunk road with no pavement therefore quite dangerous on leaving front gate.
No parking.
Would not stay again.

Cosy, clean and comfortable
It's not suitable for small children, steep and uneven stairs inside and challenging access and parking outside.
Access from the property to the road requires stepping out onto a busy road between parked cars - which was a challenge with both the dog ( on a lead) and a two year old.

Excellent location close to all the mountains, lakes, castles, waterfalls, rivers and gardens with plenty of eateries and little shops nearby. Beautiful, well appointed cottage and helpful host.
Parking was a little hit and miss but not really a problem if you don't mind a short walk.

The cottage is very near the centre of Betws-y-coed, and is well equipped with a good range of cooking equipment. Great location for hikes for mountains and castles nearby - we climbed Mt Snowdon and caught up with friends in Llandudno, among other things! We also enjoyed the back garden which leads to the forest. A bonus with young kids to go up and explore. Comfy bedding and the shower was of good temperature and pressure. Really fit our family’s needs. Nothing to complain!
As expected for a cottage of its age/make, the front room can be rather dark (not a complaint, just a note). If you’re tall, you may need to duck when going down the stairs.

Excellent location well within walking distance to shops, resturants & walking trails. Property was spotless on arrival and had everything you could need. Host kindly let us check in a bit earlier upon request.
I would absolutely stay here again no question - far superior & better value than the hotels in the area in my opinion.
Not guaranteed parking outside if it's busy - Thankfully we didn't have any real issue with this. To be fair not a lot of hotels/ houses here have parking.
There's a few car parks in the village worse case scenario or can park a bit further down the road. I think this would only be a issue in super busy periods like the school holidays.

The location was great, a couple of minutes walk into Betws-y-Coed. It had a good kitchen, well stocked with plates, cups etc and a kitchen table for 4. The lounge had two good 2 seater settees there was a log burner but we didn't need to use it.
The door lock was great rather than messing with key safes and keys.
The garden we only discovered properly just before we left, take a walk up it goes on & on! We probably missed a sun trap up there.
The parking is on the road but we got a spot for both cars fairly close to the house so wasn't a problem
Overall we'd happily stay again, lots of great walks on the doorstep and a pub just a short walk away for a great meal.
Nothing to really complain about, a washing up bowl would be a personal preference for doing dishes. And I was on tip toes to see in the bedroom mirror - my husband, (6ft 2), was happy - it's not often he doesn't have to bend down to see in a mirror on the wall!

A pair of kitchen scissors would have been a useful addition. Also, parking near the property can be problematical.

The Location was great. Lots of great walks.
I was a little disappointed that no initial wood was left for us to make a fire upon our arrival. And no welcome pack.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Only a short walk to the centre of Betws-Y-Coed. Had everything you needed in the kitchen for cooking. Nice big garden it the weather had been better. Lovely wood burner in the lounge and the place was really warm too.
Parking on the street just outside.

The location was absolutely perfect, there’s shops, beautiful scenery and places to eat all just a short walk down the road. The garden was huge which was perfect for our two dogs, the garden was also safe for them to run up and down. It’s pet friendly! The host was very helpful and even let us in two hours earlier which was very helpful for us! The kitchen was very large and had all the things we needed to cook all our meals throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable and both rooms were very large, they had plenty of storage space and had plenty of plug sockets around the room which always helps! The entire cottage was large and had plenty of space to move around in with the two of us and our two dogs. It was very clean when we arrived, and was happy to see they supplied coffee, tea and sugar for us! Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again!
This could be better if there were towels supplied, and a cozy blanket or couple pillows for the living room.

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location, all the facilities you need while exploring North Wales.
Parking can be tight outside but this would not stop me from staying here again.

Fab location, very cosy cottage. Comfortable beds.
Good communication with the host.
Parking wasn't easy. I understand its 1st come 1st served .... but its a very busy town. Holyhead road is very busy as well. Driving up and down to find a parking wasn't ideal.

great location, rooms are a good size with a well equipped kitchen
although the cottage is pet friendly the garden isn’t secure at all so dogs had to be on leads when out there
