Great stay and very clean and comfortable.

It was a location close to our daughter who’s at Uni in Durham. The house is an upsidedown house. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The views from upstairs is fabulous. Parking right outside.

Our second visit to this property - Certainly won't be the last.

The upside down layout of this property offers an amazing view over the valley. French doors opening onto the view make it a fabulous place to sit with a glass of wine in the evening. A plentiful supply of tea, coffee and sugar was there on arrival, along with milk and a pack of biscuits. The super-king sized bed was very comfortable and offered an excellent night's sleep. Perfect Location: Durham, Beamish Museum and Bishop Auckland are all worth a visit and are within a 30 minute drive. There is an excellent pub for food and drink within a 5 minute walk. No shop in the village but there is everything we needed just a five minute drive away in Langley Park

Couldn't find any instructions for the oven or microwave - took a while to figure out. Otherwise everything was fine.

Amazing ... But

Property was fantastic... good layout ( however needs a bit of colour )bathroom was great however hot water was hit and miss. Property had some great views... but had a small tight driveway ... Overall was great 👍 would defo recommend and it was great having our own privacy compared a hotel. Loved it thank you so much

- view and location was really lovely (nice and really quiet) magical sunsets !!

- unfortunately it wasn’t clean , I wouldn’t say that someone vacuum in the house (under table was a lot pieces of bread ) and dirty table - there was especially downstairs a lot cobwebs in rooms and bathroom - fridge inside - dirty - the worst was washing machine 😞 A LOT MOULD INSIDE (we travel a lot in that moment and we wanted wash our clothes and I take them out was even worst dirty - black marks from mould !!) plus there is no clothes dryer in house !! - maine door from home is really hard to open / close them you have to use some force and is the same with gate form little garden on front of house GENERAL HOUSE HAVE A LOT POTENTIAL BUT NEED DEEP CLEANING/ SOME REPAIRS AND LATER ON KEEP EYE ON CLEANING.

Didn’t realise we had to go out of house to enter secure garden with our dogs .It was lovely they had Xmas tree and Xmas lights

Exceeded our expectations views outstanding would have no hesitation in booking again.

Location ideal for what we wanted to do. Very comfortable and pleasant surroundings. Felt nice and homely. Loved the French door in the living area which complemented the lovely view.

Being picky the grill tray in oven could have been cleaner but understand it could have been overlooked however on the whole property was spotless and very welcoming.

Relaxing stay in the beautiful north country!

What a gorgeous place to stay! Located on top of the hill overlooking the lush green countryside, this is a perfect family getaway. The house is clean, modern, and well equipped with everything you need. From one window you can see farmers' fields in Esh and the other window opens onto a view of the majestic valleys of North England. James and Tatania are helpful and conscientious hosts. They shared maps with us of local walks and even drove us into the train station when we couldn't get a taxi. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
