We picked a spot a little bit (3 miles) out of town (Zakopane) so we could walk to the hiking trails from our rental. The Tatra Wood House was perfect for this. It’s a short $9 Bolt ride to/from Zakopane. One night we walked from the House and ate locally. Perfect. The other night we Bolt’ed to Zakopane and ate at a restaurant amongst the tourists. Anna the housing manager gave us nice text instructions where to meet someone who handed over the keys to the House. Easy.

Communication with host was great - all before, during and afterwards. The house was lovely, well looked after and had all necessary essentials you would expect of a rental / holiday home. Nice touch with firewood available to use in fireplace, we certainly enjoyed use of it.

Cozt and bright
It was a little but cold. Also we were supposed to be 8 adults but in the end only 6 came. It was perfect for 6 but for 8 it would be a little stuffed.
