Apartments Peternelj

A wonderful place for a peaceful stay in the Slovenian mountains. The apartment was very clean, cosy and well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views, fresh air and quiet surroundings made it feel like a real escape from busy everyday life. The hosting family was exceptionally kind and welcoming. A very special personal touch was the welcome drink from the owner when we arrived - we even had a friendly drink together, which made us feel truly welcome from the first moment. The whole place has a warm family atmosphere and is especially nice for families or travellers who enjoy nature, hiking and a calm countryside setting.

Nothing serious. The location is up in the mountains, so having a car is useful and some attractions take a bit of driving. But for us this was part of the charm - the peaceful location and beautiful surroundings are exactly what make this place special.

El lugar espectacular, muy limpio, la amabilidad del dueño espectacular, la atención, el recibimiento. Siempre atento a lo que necesitábamos. Altamente recomendable.

Nos costó encontrar la ubicación, nos perdimos dos veces...pero el paisaje que después se obtiene lo recompensa.

The location is surrounded by beautiful nature, so calm and peaceful. The view of the green mountains is amazing. Playground for kids with several possibilities: table tennis, basketball, toy cars, step etc. Everything was clean and the host Damjana is a very kind lady. Also her sons can speak very good English, we played table tennis together, he plays like a pro and very nice guy. We hiked to the Davški slapovi which is hidden waterfall within around 30mins walk. Lake bled and Ljubljana is around 1h 15mins drive. Very good value for money!! Smart TV in the bedroom. We loved to pet the dogs there.

The apartment is quite small, small bathroom (but water flow was quite good), would have been nice to have bit more space for 5 people. We were asked to pay the tax in cash at last minute when we are leaving, would have been nice to know beforehand the amount and how to pay. There were no container for rest or non-recyclable garbage, every time we had to handover those garbage to the owner.
