Very friendly host who advised on where to book for the pilgrimage in Kumakogen and suggested staying for 2 nights (good advice) and made the reservation for me. Use of washing mashing was free (osettai).
Parts of the inn are old or worn out and should be replaced (e.g. men’s toire separator is loose, door to my room was worn out).

Clean and neat, cozy
Difficult to find while driving using Google maps

Was a lovely old style ryokan.. it was nice comfortable on the futons and our room looked onto a garden
Only one bathroom and toilet . Early check out time of 8am! We could leave our bags there though. Whilst it says you can pay with cc , we were asked to pay cash, which we had to go to an atm to withdraw.

ご主人の人柄が良くて設備案内も丁寧にして頂き印象は良かった。古い旅館さんではあるが宿泊には申し分ないと思います😊昭和レトロを感じました。
部屋の内壁が茶色で少し怖かった😱
