"We loved being in the countryside. We rented bikes from the property to go into town. It’s a bit nerve racking biking in town but I’m pretty good on a bike."

It was my first time sleeping in a traditional Japanese room with a futon on the floor which was a great experience. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Didn't get a chance to test the onsen sadly.
The music in the corridors outside my room. The hotel is remote so need a car or taxis to get around. No shower or bath in traditional rooms.
