Cottage of the castle of mirvault, along the river
After a shady path where you will meet many rabbits, you will arrive at the cottage located in the heart of an enclosed park and you can walk in the middle of meadows or groves. Housed in the old barns of the castle, you will appreciate its calm that gives it its privileged location along a river whose dam nearby will rock your day.
The boat placed at your disposal will allow you to discover this river, to take the locks and thus to go from reach to reach, or to cross it simply in order to join the towpath for the greatest pleasure of the hikers and walkers who walk or cycle.

Had a fabulous week, the hosts were so friendly and helpful. The gite is basic but we didn't mind, no proper shower, beds and bedding clean but basic, spiral staircase that might be a problem for some and the third room turned out to be on the landing but overall we loved the place, the pool, the river and the area. Lots to see and do.

On recherchait de la tranquillité, de la nature avec du confort et c'est ce que nous avons eu. La maison se trouve sur une propriété magnifique, on peut s'y promener. La maison comporte tous les équipements nécessaires jusqu'à la Wi-Fi. La piscine est couverte (eau à 28°c) à partager avec une autre maison (chaque maison son tour, en clair la piscine est libre on peut y aller). A visiter et à faire aux alentours : le musée Robert Tatin, le refuge de l'arche, Angers à 40 min, sports aquatiques (canoë...).
Et surtout nous avons eu un accueil du propriétaire excellent. Merci pour cette semaine reposante et inoubliable.
