Lodge Seeblick 161 in the Tauern village of Enzingerboden

Lodge Seeblick is a comfortable chalet (semi detached house) with garden, 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, 1 en suite shower rooms, 1 shower room with sauna for 2-3 persons, open plan living room with kitchen and dining area, wood pellet burner. The master bedroom has a good sized double bed and comes with an en suite shower room and a balcony with mountain view. The second bedroom offers a double bed with lake view and the third bedroom comes with a single bed and lake view. These 2 rooms share a bathroom that also comes with a walk-in shower and a nice sauna for 2 to 3 persons. 



Imagine yourself and your loved ones coming home from a hard yet fulfilling day of skiing or walking, preparing a delicious meal together in the fully equipped kitchen and having a great dinner. Then you let the evening come in front of the crackling fire on the cuddly sofa. This is pure relaxation, well deserved!



During winter snow chains are recommened. The mountain road is a paved road and is cleared frequently but snow chains nevertheless snow chains may be required. The next supermarket and doctor office are both located in the valley at the town centre of Uttendorf which is 17km away.

The bbq area is only available from may to october (depending on snow conditions) and it can only be used with charcoal (no real wood please)

The lake is a reservoir and the water is drained and dammed several times a day to produce electricity.

Therefore, unfortunately, it is not allowed to swim in the lake. The water would also be much too cold for bathing, it never rises above 10 degrees.

You can splash around a bit, let your feet hang in, etc. you can do it at the upper end where the stream runs into the lake. For swimming, we recommend our great bathing lake in the valley below. Enjoy your summer days with delicious meals on site, SUPs to borrow, a slide and a children's area.



Miscellaneous:

A hydroelectric power plant is expected to be built in the mountain by 2025. Please note that the work is being carried out inside the mountain so that our guests in Tauerndorf are not disturbed by noise stemming from any construction activity. We would ask for your understanding and can promise you that you will still enjoy the wonderful mountain world around the Weissee Glacier to the fullest. Without any doubt, you will be comfortable and feel at ease in the holiday apartments of Steinbock Lodges.
