Close by Saturday Farmers Market and great restaurants to dine for breakfast, lunch and dinner!I would have liked to have an extra blankets but they have central smart meter system.Owner was very nice and easy to communicate.Thank you!

I was in Templeton to spend time with my family. I spent mornings and nights at the cute & cozy. It was very comfortable. The yard was open and so nice to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. Again, it was very nice property all around.

Absolutely fantastic! Came down from Washington for a wedding and the place was amazing and relaxing! The town is sooo cute, we even enjoyed the market in town on Sunday. Quiet neighborhood, felt safe, lots of birds , lizards and even a gopher! Definitely a great place! Thanks so much!

When we were first walking up to the house, we noticed right away that the windows were dirty. It didn’t get better once we went inside. The house was filthy throughout. Dark ring in the toilet, water spots on all the shower glass. The hood above the stove was very dirty. The washing machine was so filthy that no one would ever want to use it. The dresser drawers in the bedrooms were so dirty inside that you would never want to put your clothes in there. I actually could go on, but I think this paints a good enough picture of what we found on arrival. We wanted to immediately leave, but it was late and we had traveled many hours and were exhausted, plus we had no where else to go, so we did stay the first night and left early the next day. I have no idea why the house was in this condition. The host had contacted me to give me the entrance code, so it’s not as if she didn’t know someone was coming. We’ve used VRBO‘s in the past and never ran into something like this. Very disappointing and created much inconvenience for us. We spent most of the second day searching for alternate lodging. 😏

Our family had a wonderful and restful stay in this adorable cottage. We had a jewelry booth at the California Midstate Fair and stayed in Lori's home for two weeks, and it provided a comfortable and safe homebase. The place is immaculately clean, well stocked with all the basic amenities (and more!) you would need in a vacation home, and the furnishings were good quality. It's newly renovated and located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We cannot recommend this home enough, and the next time we are in town, we would love to stay here again.

We had a great time staying at Lori’s property, conveniently located near DT Templeton. We were able to have our cake and eat it to for Christmas, staying in this beautifully updated home just down the street from our greater family. Recommend! Thanks for the lovely stay.

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend in this beautiful home, walking distance to Templeton downtown shops and restaurants. We missed the farmers’ market in the park on Saturday because we headed to the beach, but returned in time for a relaxing dinner with friends outside on a warm October night. The house itself is comfortable and welcoming with a terrific kitchen, large bathroom and 2 light-filled bedrooms. We loved spending time there and look forward to returning soon!

My children and I traveled to Templeton for a family gathering I'm so happy we chose to stay at this adorable home! The pictures really don't do it justice. We've stayed at quite a few homes through other websites and decided to try Vrbo and found this gem! Adorable pumpkins stacked at the front door greeted us and little pumpkins were here and there throughout the house made it feel like home! Beds were super comfy, we loved the rustic feel throughout the house, the shower was amazing, the kitchen was gorgeous and the town itself is charming just as I remember as a kid spending my summer swimming at the Templeton park down the street. I meant to write in the guest book that was kindly left for others to read and share their journey's but time slipped away and I was unable to do it...next time We will definitely be back when we come to visit again!

Clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Owner was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. New air conditioning which was a concern during our visit. Record high temperatures. I would definitely stay again if I need a room in the area. I brought my brother for a couple days out of the heat in Fresno and the house was perfect. Thank you for the great visit. Some locations are not as advertised. This one is!

We spent another relaxing, happy weekend in this beautiful home in Templeton. We appreciated the thoughtful Valentine's day touches including chocolates, wine and flowers, there to greet us all on arrival from Lori. Our teenage girls loved having the freedom to walk to shops and the park, and the welcoming home space allowed for us all to work and relax together during week, preparing and sharing meals inside and out. This visit we enjoyed outings to the Estrella Warbirds Museum and kayaking on Morro Bay. Thanks to Lori for being such an amazing and thoughtful host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this cozy home, recently updated with thoughtful amenities throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and seating areas inside and out enabled us to relax and socialize. We especially appreciated the central location which allowed us to stroll downtown and around the neighborhood to visit friends and enjoy meals without getting in the car. We had a wonderful visit!

The home was cozy, beautiful and the appliances/tech set up made things even more convenient. A modern home that made our stay so comfortable. We loved everything about it inside and out - the kids especially loved hiking down the backyard hill. It’s central location allowed us to enjoy the beach at Morro Bay and a kid-friendly hike at Elfin Forest—both only 30 minutes away. The only negative feedback I have had nothing to do with the house or the homeowner, just the neighbors several houses away who drove by proudly with Confederate flags on the 4th of July. I was grateful that the home was gated as it felt secure and safe for my family and me. We will return regardless!

We didn't know how charming Templeton is, and the house is right in town. The location is a great launching pad to everything SLO county has to offer. There were nice little touches that made us feel welcome. The remodel on the house was very nicely done, especially the kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are small but comfortable. The front and back have nice tables and seating areas. Our family of four definitely stay here again!
