La Maison d'Anne

This may have been my most favorite place I've ever stayed! This was such a unique and special experience staying at this inn while in Paris. The inn is family-owned, and you can feel it in every part of your stay. The owners are so warm and helpful. I want to highlight some of the special touches from our stay- the kitchenette which was stocked with fresh bread jams, eggs, milk and Nutella for the kids. The pool felt like it was in a hidden cave in the most magical way possible! The kids begged to stay at the inn rather than explore Paris as the place and the pool were so fun! I could not recommend this place more highly, in fact I have already recommended it to a friend who is going to Paris this Fall!

Location was OUTSTANDING!! In the Latin quarter. 2 blocks from Notre Dame. A block from the Sine. Close to everything! Room and bathroom were large. It had an indoor pool, although we didn't use it we heard lots of kids using it. The owner Manon was awesome. Very accommodating!

Room was dark, no windows to the outside.

Our stay was amazing! Such as impressive space and maintained with so much love and attention. The room and beds were extremely comfortable. We were here during the historic heat wave and so happy to have both the air conditioning and pool. Olivier was extremely kind and helpful. We will try to come back again.

Nothing, zero complaints!

This is a very unusual property in the heart of the Latin quarter. First of all, the location- near Notre Dame and famous landmarks- is exceptional. The building itself is from 1610, made of stone (supposedly left over stone from Notre dames construction) and has an old timwy castle charm. My kids loved the stone rooms, the loft beds (caution though if you have sleepwalking kids as the height is very steep). The amazing swimming pool in the stone basement was so helpful during the heat wave. They had towels, robes, pool toys. My kids were obsessed with that pool. The rooms themselves are well appointed- a few breakfast essentials, extra linens etc, a lovely library of books, and most importantly in summer, a functioning AC. Highly recommend this property with its unusual vibe.

No real issues. We had a family room with a dedicated space for a bed and 3 beds on a loft. As mentioned, the loft is steep so don't count on it if traveling with a grandparent for example. It was also a little hard to get a hold of the property owners with questions, which surprised me. Luckily we had no issues and when we did see any of the owners, they were always courteous.
