L’emplacement géographique et le calme

On aurait apprécié quelques essentiels pour les 1ers jours : un peu de café, quelques sachets de thé, du sel et poivre : choses que nous ne transportons pas toujours avec nous ! Un barbecue aurait été bienvenu.

We found a brandnew MobileHome. Everything was very clean and almost unused. Well equipped kitchen, a French bed with good mattress, two bathrooms and big veranda with a big wooden dining table and 6 chairs. Very calm. The hosts were very friendly. The MobilHome is placed close to some trees which give shade in the morning. The weather was neither too hot nor too cold so that we didn't miss an aircondition but had to start the heating in the last two nights.

The facilities are designed for 2 adults and up to 4 children but each room is very (!) narrow. The living room is not convenient for 6 people. Two of four places on the padded bench in the corner cannot be used due to a window frame in the neck. For cold/rainy weather periods I advise maximum 3-4 people to stay. This brandnew MobilHome has some power sockets in any room but not enough or not enough at the right places to charge all the smartphones, notebook, tablet or camera at a safe place. Hint: I strongly recommend to bring a distributon socket which is compliant for French sockets. The building is placed on a gravel surface. A small area with some lawn and comfortable outdoor furniture, like deckchairs, would be nice. The host told us at arrival that the dishwasher was not working. Obviously it was tested too late so that it could not be repaired before our arrival. It did not really mind the host that it wasn't repaired during our stay - a compensation was not offered - not even a bottle of wine. Next shopping facilities are several km away. A car is needed. The host did not know but we figured out that the pizza house in the main road (distance 750 m) prepares baguette in the morning if you order it in advance.
