Tatsuta Ryokan

This was the perfect stay in my trip in Japan, the ryokan was very peaceful and the room was big and beautiful. The private onsen in the room was a dream, the other private onsen were perfect too. I would recommend getting the meals as they were very tasty and the view was wonderful. Staff spoke very good english and was very helpful! I will be back !

We like the free private onsen areas. They are so special and comfortable. The room is nice and clean with cold, ambient and hot water prepared for you. Breakfast setting was amazing too beside the riverz highly recommend. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

I am so glad I booked this, it was probably most beautiful experience of my life so far. I was weary at first because it is a bit further from big cities and I was travelling by myself without a car, so it took about 3.5h from Tokyo but it was straightforward. And once I got there I couldn’t stop saying “wow” out loud, literally. Absolutely beautiful environment, atmosphere, everything. I stayed in the junior suite with my own private onsen and not only was the room huge, it was also incredibly comfortable. The river right outside the door added to the whole ambience and was very relaxing. Eating breakfast and dinner by the river with the most delicious food, I was in my own bubble for 2 days. The staff was amazing as well, so friendly and attentive and everyone spoke English very well and was curious about my travels. I arrived when it was raining and the staff even came outside to greet me with an umbrella. I’d 100% come back and have already told others about this place and one of my friends ended up booking it for their Japan trip just a few weeks after I stayed here.
