Our French chateau inspired cottage is close to everything and far from nothing.
Imagine being walking distance to downtown Ketchum yet peacefully removed from the bustle and noise of Main street...all in the same spot.
Step inside our Sun Valley cottage to find sandstone floors, fine hardwood details and hand plastered walls throughout the custom handmade 2 structure property.
The large backyard and garden are an oasis of foliage in the Summer and a stunning backdrop of snow covered aspen trees come Winter time. Bald mountain hovers directly behind the property.
Every corner will surprise you with quality, detail, fit and finish.
The large living room has two couches and contains an HDTV gathering area, wood fireplace and wet bar that allows everyone to spend time together and relax.
The Bose sound system pumps out rich musical backdrops while the dramatic above cabinetry lighting sets the mood for a sensational evening.
Everyone stays in the mix with kitchen, dining and living room all connected and opening directly onto the expansive back patio and side BBQ and hot tub area.
Whether enjoying the aroma of wild thyme over a glass of wine on the slate patio or a cool cocktail in the hot tub with snow falling, the seasons will delight you at our one of a kind home.

We loved the location and the house was well stocked! Couple things I think are worth mentioning for future guests is the “cubbies” are essentially closets with futons in them and no windows so not really sleepable. Also I know there is no way to avoid this but there was a house being built right behind us so every day at 8am there was a lot of construction noise, impossible to sleep in - especially given there is no A/C so you need to sleep with the windows open. Overall we loved our stay which is why I’m giving 5 stars, but if we had needed to use the cubbies we would have been in trouble. I think there should be pictures of them so guests know what to expect.

Beautiful home and garden in a French Country style. The home was immaculate, comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed, including lawn chairs for the summer outdoor concert series in town.

The house was just perfect for our family of 8 and Richard Lomas is an excellent host! We walked everywhere, had room to hang out in the beautiful back yard, and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen! Highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect location. Very clean. Plenty of room for our family. Host was easy to communicate with and very helpful!
