Simple and affordable, but the building could use an upgrade

I learned that VVF is a French non-profit organisation founded in the sixties with the purpose to provide affordable holiday accommodation to families. Therefore the focus is on simplicity and affordability.

The building is from the seventies and has not got any update ever since, so - the heating cannot be properly controlled. When I arrived from a long hike in the rain I would have liked to dry my wet clothes—but the heating was off. - there is a very noisy ventilation in the kitchen and toilet running all the night. Next morning the person at the reception told me I could have switched off the fuse….

Very quiet and peaceful, fantastic views and great food.

Fantastic location on the side of the mountain. The accommodation is a large block of apartments, it was very quiet with fantastic views of the valley from the balcony and windows. The restaurant buffet for breakfast and dinner had a lot of options, well cooked food, the cod was especially good with very good texture and taste. I was only staying for one night but had I done my homework properly I would have stayed longer and enjoyed the walks that start in the village. There is plenty of parking available outside, there are a couple of shops in the village and you can rent bicycles too. Overall I really enjoyed staying here, more than I thought I would. The peace and quiet and the lovely food and easy access was good. The kitchen in the apartment had lots of utensils, kettle, microwave and hob and pans and saucepans, plenty to keep you going for a couple of weeks if need be. The lady on reception was very helpful, many thanks to her I will be returning.

Well, there's always something better isn't there, maybe the shower cubical in the bathroom could have been slightly bigger and a shower screen would be nice rather than a shower curtain, bit it was spotlessly clean and fresh and I had to think hard for something that could be improved.

These ski apartments are in a large complex which can feel a bit institutional. Apartment was in a poor state of decoration but comfortable and functional

Before your check out, you need to clean your room and bring the towels and the bed sheets to the laundry room...but it was ok :)

Lovely place for family vacation!

I love the location. The view is gorgeous. I like the fact that it has a free shuttle to go to the ski lift. You can borrow a free sledge for adults and children at Tintin's ski shop.

I didn't like the fact that it was freezing cold around 1am... It was so cold that we all got sick. There's no pharmacy, it is 20 minutes away from the village. The shops are scheduled to open from 9:00 to 12:00 and then 15:45 to 7:15. Same with the restaurants.

Le personnel est le seul point positif que nous avons constaté pendant notre week-end

Annonce mensongère, parking sur demande alors qu’il n’y a pas d’emplacement réservé. Bâtiment vieux 1970, dans son jus, isolation thermique et phonique inexistante, aménagement de l’appartement à revoir, des interrupteurs mal câblés, salle de bain mal agencé, literie peu confortable.

Bel soggiorno a VVF Ceillac

La struttura è molto accogliente e in un' ottima posizione con camere con una splendida vista sulle montagne e ognuna con un bel terrazzino. Inoltre ha dei bei spazi comuni , locale sci, navette gratuite per le piste ed è vicina alla partenza di numerose escursioni a piedi.

La struttura ha gli infissi da cambiare quindi non è molto efficiente per il calore e per il rumore soprattutto del parcheggio antistante.

Paesino fantastico, appartamento funzionale e ben accessoriato ,staff gentile e disponibile .

Manca una pentola capiente e un phon.le finestre hanno molti spifferi ma nel complesso non fa.freddo.

Personnel au top et appartement confortable.

Notre chambre était mitoyenne avec le restaurant, il y avait un vrombissement désagréable la nuit et beaucoup de bruits provenant de l’autre coté de la cloison entre 6h et 8h le matin. C’est dommage d’être réveillés si tôt un dimanche…

Un tres bel endroit

Qualité de l'accueil. Établissement situé dans une vallée assez large avec des échappées visuelles très belles sur les montagnes et sommets environnants. Chambre très propre, équipements parfaits, très jolie vue du balcon privatif. Proximité du village où l'on peut se restaurer de façon savoureuse, à un prix raisonnable.

Le lit double est en 140, mais il est confortable.

Bien mais l'etablissemment est vieillissant et meriterait des travaux de rafraîchissement. Notamment la salle d'eau avec un minuscule bac à douche et un rideau d'un autre âge. Au niveau propreté : une balayette de WC vraiment dégoûtante.
