We were the only guests as France was playing in the World Cup - our hosts were exceptional ensuring we enjoyed all the facilities plus made a special meal for us
The standard was exceptional throughout from the bedroom bathroom and common areas
The location and environment brilliant with wildlife evidence throughout our visit

The room was beautiful, the evening meal was very enjoyable and informative, the host was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and added translations to help us understand what other guests was saying as they were French.

Set in a quiet location in a very small village the host has made a fantastic job of renovating the old farm buildings. The food made by the chef Edith was excellent. Michael was very helpful in suggesting places to visit. He also has two beautifully restored ancient cars, which were interesting to see
Edith seemed to need to tell everyone about the food she has prepared. This made the wait between courses very long.
It was difficult to talk to each other when she was there

Brilliant location, service and facilities. Everything was first-class. Could not be faulted. Staff (Mikäel and Edith) went above and beyond.
