Centrally located next to the river, playground, pool and parks. Off street parking and nestled between the trees. Great for Australia Day long weekend escape with the kids.

Little dated so if you’re precious and seeking a 5 star hotel, this is not the place for you. It is an awesome family retreat facility and absolutely ticks all the boxes!

The area was very nice, right in the middle of Marysville by the river and it was really easy to find the house and park the car. The cabin is also very private with a lovely view from the little balcony. The bed was also very comfortable. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.

A few small things could have improved our stay. The lighting in the main room is really dimmsy. Just a couple of hooks at the doors would have allowed us to hang up our outdoor jackets - something that I complain about in many rental properties. Such an easy thing to do. The light above the stove did not work, and the television had a very limited set of channels when we arrived - it got better the next day for some reason. One of my other major bugbears in many rental properties including this one is that we were not given a smaller towel per person for our faces just a teeny weeny towel for the hands. I really don't like drying my face with a towel that I have used for my private parts. Another often encountered issue is that the Teflon pots were deteriorated which is not good for your health as they release forever chemicals. Steel pots are a much better option and last longer. A WiFi would have been nice, but is not so important. As I said, these are small things, but they make the difference between excellent and exceptional.

Bugs annoyed my kids a fair bit, but that comes with being close to nature!

Loved the position couldn't have been better. Accommodation is spacious and beds clean and comfortable but you need to be a pilot to navigate microwave with no instructions provided, also the is absolutely nowhere comfortable to sit, to read a book or watch TV the couch was so very uncomfortable and so low it was very hard getting up from it. We left a day early as both of us were suffering bad back pain and couldn't bear the thought of another night on that couch. 🙃

Didn't like having no comfortable seating, and the steps and verandah badly need a coat of paint it's looking very tired
