La Posada del Arcangel

Beautifully decorated, uniquely designed hotel, charming garden and great, comfortable rooms. We enjoyed the company of the 3cats walking around clearly owning the place. Staff was very nice and helpful also.

Loved the art. Truly a gallery. Fabulous staff - helped me set up a driver and order food when it was too hot to go out.

The hotel is like an art gallery. Good rooms. Good breakfast. Good dinner. Anna Maria and the staff do everything to ensure that the guests have a good time.

𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗟 & 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭 Beyond 50 Live An Inspiring Location Independent Life! 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝟱𝟬 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗧 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗦 Generally Good. However, I wasn't there long enough to thoroughly test the speed and connection for consistency. I was there 2 nights, then I transferred to my long-term stay. 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 The hotel is like a night in a museum! The family have grown their extensive and eclectic collection of paintings and sculptures over 25+ years. So many fabulous pieces that they even attach them to the ceilings. All the artists are from Nicaragua, Guatamala, and Honduras. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘𝗗... • Clean and spacious room and bathroom (hot water), some with historic decor and many paintings from the family collection. • The Nica breakfast is traditional and substantial; gallo pinto, eggs to order, bread with cheese, fresh fruit, juice and coffee/tea. • Easy inDrive ride (like Uber, cash only) to center city sites and the Salvador Allende Malecon. • Staff is very friendly and attentive. • Although short, I enjoyed my stay so much that I booked the hotel for a repeat visit on the 2 nights before I fly out of the country! 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦... • Same breakfast every morning. Tasty, yet it may become redundant with an extended stay.
