Location was perfect for me - I walk a lot and had quiet neighborhoods, busy Atlantic Ave and the beautiful Delray beach all close by. The house was larger than I expected - very comfortable, well-appointed and clean. I had a few miscommunications with the property owner but those got resolved.

Stayed at Casa Historica for a month with 20 year old son & 7 year old daughter. In area for husband’s work. Small cottage packs lots of comfort & charm. Nicely appointed for extended stays with full kitchen and laundry on site. Nice size bedrooms so everyone had their own space, which as great. Easy safe walk to downtown restaurants, farmers market, library, & public square with Christmas festivities. Lots of foot traffic and a little noise at times but that’s to be expected with location so close to everything going on downtown. Did not disrupt enjoyment of home during time we were there. Security system added extra layer of comfort in populated area. Host was very responsive and accommodating when we needed to extend our stay by three nights. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

My husband and I rented this property for the month of January and February 2023. It was advertised as a 3 bedroom house that slept 5 people. The price was the same whether you rented as a single person or if there were 5 people that would be staying for the duration. Shortly before our trip, I contacted the landlord to ask about the bedding in the third bedroom. He questioned why I would need to know that if there were only two of us. I explained that I had a friend that may come and visit for two nights. He told me if I intended to bring anyone else in, he was going to charge me $20 per night on top of the thousands that I had already paid. There was no rational reason for this. We are senior citizens. This is not a party group that would be trashing his property. When we arrived at the property, he had actually locked up the third bedroom, and we were never allowed to use it! Many of the amenities that were listed on line for the property did not exist. We were provided with exactly one towel each for our two months stay. We are perfectly capable of buying items on our own, and would expect to, but the description listed, toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, shampoo, coffee, bottled water, oatmeal, etc, etc. None of these were provided and there is no iron or ironing board as listed, just a very wet fabric steamer. The house was clean and provided a security system and outside cameras. The location is close to downtown and the beach and we thoroughly enjoyed Delray. The city of Delray Beach provides free transportation with an app called Freebee. It was extremely convenient for our trips to the beach.
