The Northumberland Arms

Comfortable rooms, pleasant staff, good breakfasts and an exceptional pub restaurant.

Nothing that would make me not stay again

Everything from the moment we arrived the very friendly welcome, our room was fantastic the bed was awesome, and quality food, a great place for a romantic stay, will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you to the team.

Nothing.

Great rural location inland from the coast. Excellent food both in the evening and breakfast. Clean comfortable room with large bathroom

We had a little difficulty getting the shower warm enough...no visible temperature control.

Loved my room, loved the Pub and the staff.Food was excellent and so was the waiting staff.Excellent staff without hovering over you. Loved every minute of my stay. Also an added plus ,Trevor personally served us breakfast .A perfect gentleman. Breakfast itself was absolutely faultless .Freshly baked croissants, sour dough toast (regular white or brown also available ) Very good breakfast offering 2 slices of bacon two sausages, black pudding bean served in small bean pot (which I prefer ) two eggs ,fried, poached or scrambled, and grilled tomato. Coffee tea served alongside breakfast ,Also several speciality teas available too via teabags next to cereals and warm croissants . One complimentary bottle of still and one sparkling water in room . Lovely Ringtons hot chocolate sachets and good selection of tea bags offered .Coffee sachets .fresh milk . Spotlessly clean bedding lovely high thread cotton sheets lovely pillows.Bathrobes .Complimentary toiletries sewing kit and shower cap saved me re-styling my hair which was styled via my hairdresser . Great check in ,great friendly check out.Pleasure to see you again Trevor. We will return !!! xx

Small dot of mould above bay window no leaks or anything that spoilt my stay . The bay window needs a refresher coat of paint but there's no damp or draught. (Lovely black out curtains so not a big deal it just stopped the room getting 10/10.) Stair carpet leading to room has tired fraying carpet at one of the treads .but rooms are fresh and clean .
