Gîte et meublés du Tour du monde

Beautiful place in a beautiful country. The local people were happy, fun, candid and inviting. Dan from the Gite was more than accommodating. The cooking facilities adequate and the bed comfortable. The Gite or bungalow, was quirky and interestingly decorated with artefacts from Dan's wide travels. The various Gites represented various world areas. Thus Tour de Monde or Tour of the World.

We were expecting bus transport from a stop near the bungalow to be adequate as it is in Hawaii, as we verified the timetable via the internet as we were leaving. Big lesson here. Nothing on the net pertaining to the island can be taken as given. There were few or no buses. The fish markets still shown as open 24 has are open from 6 to midday Thurs to Mon. Etc, etc. Check everything by phone before you come. Everything was filthy expensive, even rivalling Tahiti. A half day tour was $250 aud and a modest lunch and 2 glasses of wine were $170 aud. Get accomodation with kitchen and shop the supermarkets. All in all, to experience the country and the lifestyle and people, it's more than worth doing.

It was a lovely little cabin and had everything we needed.

キッチン、冷蔵庫、ダイニングなど部屋の設備が非常に整っていて長期滞在にとても向いていると思います（実際、長期滞在にすると非常に割安になります）。オーナーらしき人は２人いますが、そのうち一人は英語がほとんど喋れません。ただ、Google翻訳を使ってとても一生懸命、親切にコミュニケーションを取ってくれるので問題は無くとても感じが良いです。周囲の見どころやスーパーなどとても丁寧に教えてくれました。

予約時点で銀行振込で宿泊費を送金しなくてはいけない（クレジットカード決済ではない）ので、非常に手間とコストがかかります。 町から結構離れた場所にあり、アクセス道路も分かりづらいのが難点です。バス停から徒歩圏（10分以内）ですが、特に夜は街灯もとても暗く途中に案内もないので、事前に送ってくれる地図を印刷して持っていくことをお勧めします。

The host was very welcoming and the room had everything we needed. The pets were awesome!
