Spacious apartment and central location

We loved how spacious the apartment was and how central it was for our 4 day visit to Luxembourg. It has most things you need for a short to medium-term stay. Check in was an easy process and the building is quiet so we we slept well. The beds were very comfortable.

There could be more things in the kitchen for cooking, especially if you're staying for more than a few days. More cleaning supplies and toilet paper would be helpful too. The shower leaks water all over the floor which was just slightly annoying. I wouldn't say it's a luxury apartment, but it's comfortable.

The place is certainly very nicely located, large and well equipped. But sleeping without ear plugs is nearly impossible

Large apartment with equipped kitchen, extremely well located. It was clean and well equipped.

The noise is unbearable. You can’t sleep. The walls are paper thin. The noise from the street in the middle of the night feels like you had cars or trucks driving through the flat. The neighbours started speaking loudly before 6:00 AM and I thought they were in the room.

What you see is NOT what you get.

The apartment was okay. Not excellent, just okay. It's just a few blocks from the train station, and it's close to the light rail and a selection of restaurants.

We had two issues with this apartment: (1) There was black mold on the ceiling in the shower and on the shower curtain. Since we have respiratory issues that can be exacerbated by mold, we bought some disinfectant and cleaned the mold ourselves. (You're welcome.) (2) There were some notable discrepancies between the photos in the listing and the actual apartment. It had been "staged" with nicer things for the photos. See our photos for examples. They promote this apartment as "luxury living" and while "luxury" is a subjective term, this place was NOT luxury by any means. It had more of an off-campus college apartment vibe. It was decent enough and an okay place to stay (aside from the mold), but nothing special. The fact that they used deceptive photos to make this apartment appear nicer than it actually is left a bad impression.

Rainy Luxembourg

We had an issue with our apartment in Villa Cortina. They very kindly moved us to an apartment in Villa Carlotta. My comments and ratings relate to Villa Carlotta. It was a lovely apartment on the top floor reached by a lift and a short set of stairs. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was great - close to the station, the trams and buses. Given it rained all day we were there, we really appreciated the easy access to the free public transport. We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Carlotta.

We couldn't work out the dryer function on the washer/dryer machine. Some instructions would have been helpful.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to tram. In central area. Bars, supermarket all close by. Spacious, clean apartment. Apt with fireplace. 2 bedrooms, double in each. Also double sofa bed in lounge. Kitchen, with coffee machine big fridge freezer. Which didn't really use, 2 night stay.

Only one bathroom. With 5 friends, bit awkward, getting ready in the morning and evening. Shower over bath, old screen. Tricky getting in and out. Needs some attention.

Great apartment let down by a faulty hot water system and poor service by the staff.

Very spacious and comfortable in a great location.

The attitude and service of the staff. The hot water only worked intermittently and unpredictably. When we complained on the first morning (after cold showers), nothing seemed to be done. When we again complained on the second morning, a technician came while we were out and found the water hot at that time. We were sent a photo and video as if we were incapable of working a simple tap when we had clearly stated that we had hot water some of the time but not at others. If it was just us not turning the tap the correct way, then it wouldn’t have been hot at any time. The hair dryer also was faulty and that took two days and two requests to be replaced. We did have trouble contacting them around lunch time as they close, but then should have voicemail so that a message can be left.

Great location but not worth the money and unclean

Great location but that is about it.

Apartment was overpriced for the condition. Shower did not work properly (fine for a male but no so much for females). Dirty on arrival, the floor was very dirty and even after a shower and a short walk in the kitchen area and I had black feet again. The long large black hairs on the “fresh clean” towels and in the shower. Also a few small bugs in the shower which was not pleasant to see. At over £450 for two nights, it was not worth the condition. Reported to the man that gave us the keys and never got a response.

Overall really enjoyed our stay!

The apartment was great! Perfect for our party of 5, and the host was amazing, answered all of our questions and was incredibly patient with us! Highly recommend!

The location, parking was incredibly difficult and there were homeless outside in the streets which made it seem a little unsafe once outside the private gate.

not enough supplies for 3 people, 4 nights. we had no coffee filters, 1 small trash bag, I dish soap pod and 2 small rolls of toilet paper. didn’t receive more until 3rd day. awful smells of cigarette smoke and cooking food that seemed to come from dining/kitchen area vents.

very Close to the Gare Centrale (8min walk), near the tram, which is free (2min walk), very Close to the city center (15 min walk), quiet place; clean and equiped with everything (Owen, dishes washing Machine, washing machine, toaster, coffee machines, microwave) pans and dishes etc. Even if it was a sofa bed, it was very comfortable, we slept really well. The owner is very friendly

a suitable apartment for two people, with comfort and an aucustico esolamento. there was no hassle of car noises, easily handing over keys. quality soap, and a nice bed to sleep very well. I highly recommend this apartment, and I will definitely be back more often.
