The welcome was very good, but the apartment needs more attention to cleanliness, the bathroom sink had no water and the sofa bed is very old; when you lie down, it slides into the gap in the middle. But the location is very well situated in a safe and pleasant area.

Things that were great: communication from the online team and from the local host. All were quick to respond, kind, helpful, available when needed. The location is fantastic: just a block from Campo di Fiori, a 10 min walk to many of the ancient sites and over the river to Trastevere. Not so great: no windows besides over the front door, so very little natural light. Unit is decent sized, but could use some TLC and repair work. Since there is no reason to turn the bed back into a couch, it would make a lot of sense to have a real bed and get rid of the pull-out sofa. It wasn't awful, but also wasn't great. Would have been nice if the comforter was in a duvet cover that could be washed between guests.
