Unfortunately, not more to add on the likes part. Maybe the fact that the appartment is big enough for four people, two growns and two 12 and 8 years children. The Krups coffee machine comes in handy and is pre-filled with coffee already. I appreciated the host’s detailed explanations on wi-fi operation, her willingness to help and checking in now and again to confirm everything is ok.

I don’t know how to take it, from the outside, or inside. Starting with the outside, the area is a complete planning disaster, with all shapes and sizes buildings cramping alongside streets and overfilled with cars. The town planning is completely lacking, the streets and surroundings are completely abandoned in terms of public services such as waste collection and drainage. Moving around, either by car or foot is a complete chaos, beach is overcrowded with sun beds, all kinds of small business selling fast food, snacks, beach toys all over the place. The apartment itself is located in a large 6 or 7 buildings compound, each 9-10 floors high, so not too quiet. Three swimming pools, one for children serve the compound. If you’re lucky or paying enough attention, you might have rented an apartment with a parking place. Not my case. Nor lucky enough to convince the security guy to allow me dropping off my children + 3 suitcases near the building. I had to drive around to find a parking place and carry the suitcases some 500m to the apartment. This doesn’t seem bothering to the owner renting the apartment, just parking randomly and carrying suitcases and children around. The apartment proved to be not so clean, there were big piles of dust between the sofa and the wall, then mould in the shower cabin. In the kitchenette cupboards, coffee/chocolate on the mugs and the coffee pot. The owner was nice enough to have the cleaning lady remove the dust. Bring your own toiletries, as you won’t find but one shower gel bottle, the usual big one, serving client after client. No refreshments in the fridge (not necessarily expecting them, but they would serve well after a longer drive), so make sure you drop by one of the markets around if you’re thirsty. Restaurants around may be a lottery, you may eat well, or bad, but surely expensive :). All in all, the first and last time I’ll check in around that area.
