Art Hotel

Room was stylish to "look at". Staff was immensely helpful (to which I am immensely grateful) to post my wash bags back to me which I left in the drawer in the bathroom.

Only one chair to sit on, bed is too low (almost like a Japanese mattress) and unnecessary big, no storage space for anything other than a few hangers. We had to squeeze round the bed to go to the bathroom which is unnecessarily big for the purpose. There was a leak through a ceiling lamp and overnight rain left a pool of water on the bathroom floor! We wonder if the architect/interior designer ever stayed in the room. I think he/she should!

Easy check in and convenient parking. The hotel looked beautifully restored. Nice terrace outside the bar area

The toilet seat lid in the room was broken. The room door handle came apart when we shut the door. The tissue dispenser fell off the wall but the worst thing was the shower door exploded and shattered all over the bathroom floor at 5:00am. We were lucky not to have been injured. The staff were excellent at quickly finding us an alternative room so we could use a shower and they didn’t charge for breakfast. However we think it would appropriate to have refunded the cost of the room. We were in shock and didn’t think about it at the time.

Excellent location across from the guinguette. Gorgeous, large room, stunning lobby, huge hot shower w three height options, helpful staff gave us great Château options. It felt very private

Having to leave

Beautiful hotel and an amazing balcony room. Just incredible Art Decor layout, with lovely lighting. The hostess and other hosts were exceptional and very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience stay at this hotel and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Check in is 4PM, which felt a bit late as we had been driving 5 hours and wanted a shower when we arrived, but had to wait a while.

The Breakfast for 20 e was excessive with food having to be requested when there was nothing out only to be told it will mean having to bake a loaf and will take a while? Waited 25 mins for two boiled eggs Avoid breakfast but the hotel is great

Globally the hotel building and the area around are nice. You can tell a lot of effort was made to make it pretty. on the plus : provided amenities in the room.

Level of cleanness of the room was bad. I would expect the 4star hotel would take more care to make the rooms clean. Filter in the AC was so dirty that my husband with asthma spend entire night coughing. A pity that the potential this place is lost due to not proper caring.

Beautiful house in a great location, a few minutes away from the autoroute and, except for the intervention of trees, with a view over the Loire. Our stay was at an unusual time, apparently, as the hotel was about to close, for a variety of reasons, Covid related and because of it being winter. Strange experience — we were the only guests. So only one member of staff evident, an exceptionally welcoming and helpful young woman on arrival and a polite and helpful young man for breakfast and departure. Our room, in the Pavillon annexe, was elegantly furnished, and the bed probably the most comfortable I have ever experienced (and that includes our own grotesquely expensive Tempur that we have at home). We chose to have a simple breakfast which was fine. Dinner another matter, see below. Generally, I would say, in normal times, a lovely place to stay.

Okay, so it was odd that we were the only guests, but I think it might have been possible to produce a more conventional meal than ravioli microwaved in a jar. This is a hotel, for heaven’s sake and not a cheap one, with pre-booked guests. Not unreasonable to suppose they may wish to eat. The other noticeable discomfort was the temperature. Our room was cold when we arrived, though it did warm up after we had activated the fan system. But in the dining/breakfast room it was freezing, evening and morning. Very much a feeling that it wasn’t worth warming the place for a mere two guests. We actually wished we had gone in with our coats on. One observation about the room. The bathroom door was a mirror facing onto the room. Fine. But if in the bathroom with the light on, and no light in the bedroom, the door became completely transparent. Not great if you are at all fussy about using the lavatory unobserved.

Very nicely located minutes away from the city of Tours, this charming little hotel faces the river the Loire. It is ideally situated to initiate a tour of the Loire valley castles. The staff was charming and it really felt like we were owning the castle.

The location was ideal for visiting the surrounding areas and only a few minutes drive from Tours. All through the buildings was black and white decor and very nice. Comfortable room in the annexe with large well equipped en suite bathroom. Fluffy towels, robes and slippers too. Breakfast was minimal but served well in the main building. Nice terrace with views across to the river Loire A big plus point is the installation of Tesla EV chargers in the grounds.

The room price included the breakfast doesn’t match the experience.

We reserved a room in this hotel because of it hosts a Tesla Supercharger. Unluckily, the Tesla Supercharger was not working properly and the owner of the hotel organises for us a backup solution so that our car could be fully charged after the night. That was so kind from him for us who were quite in a difficult situation. In addition, the place is very nice: this is an small castle with dependencies that were refurbished with design furniture. The resulting concept is a black and white environment. In this covid period, they are not offering regular meals however, they prepared us a light lunch and a breakfast we had on the terrasse and that was very good. Warm thank you for the hotel management, my wife and I really recommend the place.

Frankly, nothing at all! Except perhaps the mattress that was somehow too soft for me, but my wife found it very confortable. Really, there is nothing to dislike in this lovely place!

The bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. It was very quiet; nothing to disturb a good night's sleep. It was good to have a choice of coffee pod with or without caffeine but it would be nice to have a bit more choice or some instant coffee as a suppliment.

Unfortunately some of the furniture and fittings are starting to look a bit tired or not function as well as they should. The basin in the bathroom had many chips in it and the coffee machine wasn't functioning correctly.

L’accueil excellent du personnel et le lieu

Wir brauchten notgedrungen ein Bett, weil unser Auto schlapp machte und wir erst am Folgetag einen Ersatzwagen erhielten. Das Hotel hat uns total verblüfft. Wunderschön, neu, renoviert in einem Stil, der uns gefällt. Wir hatten nur ein kleines Plättchen zum Frühstück, aber das war sehr gut.

Wir oft in Frankreich, ist es nicht so geheizt wie bei uns in der Schweiz. Wir krochen unter die Decke und dann ging's. Da unser Auto nicht funktionierte, waren wir zu Fuss unterwegs. Und für Fussgänger ist die Lage nicht wirklich gut, um in die Zivilisation zu gelangen, muss man links oder rechts der Hautpstrasse entlang marschieren.

Une bâtisse splendide, un personnel au petit soin de ses clients. Tout était vraiment parfait.

Nous n'avons pas apprécié la dernière question du QCM: "Qui avez-vous le plus apprécié ?" Nous avons trouvé que cette question était choquante, non pertinente et qu'elle n'avait aucun intérêt, hors mis peut-être le fait de mettre les salariés en concurrence. Cette question était vraiment malaisante.
