Carpe Diem near the Athens airport

The location is awesome, a 8 minute drive to the car rental return area at the Athens airport. There are a few great restaurants in a 400 meter radius from the apartments complex. The hostess Maria is really nice and helpful, and she really cares about her guest's well-being and comfort. She would turn on the AC before you show up so you can have a warm(or cool :)) welcome, and she offers a shuttle service to the airport. The apartment itself is really spacious, has everything you need, including a well equipped kitchen and some snacks, and an amazing shower. There's a lot of free parking spaces on the street of the complex, so that's not an issue as well. really recommended and well worth your money!

The reason for booking Carpe Diem was to be close to Athens Airport when the early morning flight leaves and to be able to return the rented car on time. This expectation was absolutely met, the airport is a 7-min drive, however, I had the impression that this place is fully suitable for a longer stay, even to discover Athens and the surrounding areas while staying here. Parking is free on the street. Maria, the owner is a lovely and friendly lady, she sent information just at the right time, explained in detail how to drive to the property. The Apartement is spotlessly clean, very convenient, fully equipped, the street is quiet, no noise of airplanes. The bathroom serves all ladies beauty needs, hot-water available, there is coffee capsules, teabags, sugar, wrapped croissants provided in the kichenette, a large bottle of water is waiting for you upon arrival in the fridge. Air-conditioning is effective and quiet. What else do you need for a perfect stay?

Everything was perfect.

We come back to Carpe Diem time and again because of the three "c's": it is comfortable, clean and convenient, Maria and George are friendly and warm hosts. Perfect place to stay just 10 monutes from Athens International Airport, in the suburb of Markopulo. Walking distance to restaurant, groceries etc. Nice small courtyard/ garden where you can drink your morning coffee.

It's perfect, no complaints.

There wasn't any breakfast per se, but the location is perfect for travelers in transit to another destination.

The only thing was that I did have to wait for almost an hour for the host to collect me, and I was exhausted, it would have been nice to have someone waiting knowing that my flight was on time.
