Cottage under the mountains

I will have to repeat myself. We adore this place. We are very glad to see Mrs. Steidl again, she is a very sweet lady. We would like to thank you for another beautiful holidays and we wish you all the best. We are coming next year again. The cottage went through a reconstruction, new windows, doors, roof and some other improvements. I love how it still keeps the same vibe. I have described the cottage in the previous review, so be sure to read it. Thank you very much for the hospitality, for the schnaps (we have to make sure next time to ask for more) :-D and those hand-picked flowers. We are very much looking forward to see you next year! Spring holidays in a wonderful alm

I have to say that probably I liked everything. There is no wifi, no mobile signal and no TV, just radio and it is more than enough. We had one of the most amazing holidays. Mrs. Steidl is incredibly nice and kind lady and goes the extra mile to make the visitors feel like home. So you know what to expect: There is a coffee machine (filters and filter coffee needed but there was some extra as well). There is a water boiler, a fridge, a wood burning stove. The towels, bed linen, toilet paper are all there. The toilet is outside, yes, the latrine type. All rooms have a basin and running warm water, you can wash yourself properly even without a bathroom. If it is extra cold you can use the warm bottles and extra blankets. There are hiking paths just around the hut. We have enjoyed the holidays so much that we are absolutely coming back next year. Thank you once more for your amazing hospitality, we loved every single moment.

Die perfekte Auszeit

Die Lage ist der Hammer, die Vermieter einfach nur nett und super lieb. Wir haben die Tage dort sehr genossen. Ist wirklich ein sehr schönes Erlebnis gewesen das wir gerne wiederholen. Das selbstgebackene Brot der Vermieterin ein Träumchen. Kann ich wirklich nur weiter empfehlen.

Fantastisch huis met prachtig uitzicht

Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije familie. We gingen voor een weekje terug in de tijd. Koken op een houtgestookte kookstel. Mooie ruime slaapkamers. Prachtig uitzicht. Gezellig huis. Beneden de stal, waar de koeien 's nachts staan. Diverse wandelroutes, direct te starten vanuit het huis.. Doordat er geen tv of internet is, gingen we gezellig aan tafel kaarten en hadden we leuke gesprekken. Het is voor ons een mooie ervaring geweest

Wij misten wel een douche. Ouderwets houten toilet met een gat, deze bevindt zich buiten het huisje. Het ruikt behoorlijk als de zon erop staat. Geen internet om o.a. bezienswaardigheden op te zoeken in de omgeving. Voor een weekje vonden wij het een mooie ervaring.

Pohoda, klid, ticho 👍

Poloha ubytování primo pod vrcholky hor, nádherná krajina, klid od okolního světa a úžasné ticho. Takový návrat ke kořenům, vaření nad ohněm v peci, suchý záchod na pavlači, pasoucí se krávy....prostě jak za našich dědu a babiček. Večer se sedělo u stolu, povídalo se a hráli se deskovky 👍. Na místě není klasická koupelna, dečka se posadila do velkého lavoru s teplou vodou, někteří dospělí tuto variantu zvládli take......ale jinak se koupani páchalo u napajedla před chatou. Ve většině pokojů je umyvadlo s teplou tekoucí vodou, to je pro ty méně zdatné 🤣
