Located in the town of Los Osos (10 minutes from San Luis Obispo), and at the foot of Montana De Oro state park, "Kiss the Sea Ranch" is a lovely home with lots of windows and outside areas to enjoy the views from every angle. The Owner has spent an extraordinary amount of time to make this large home the perfect retreat for families, couples, or small groups. This very special property is adjacent to the stunningly beautiful Montana de Oro State Park. Close to wildlife you do need to be aware of your surroundings. You may walk down the road toward the beach to the sand dunes or you may drive the small distance as well. There are many brilliant trails for hiking or biking. Owner has sleds for the sand dunes, towels and beach toys. This location is a true paradise for outdoor aficionados or you can stay inside and relax by the fireplace and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
The location is just South of Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria, Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals and Big Sur. We are only 20 minutes to downtown San Luis Obispo known for its great Thursday night Farmer's Market, shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

The manager is very responsive. We were without hot water the first day, because the tankless heater was disconnected from power. But the manager corrected the issue within hours. We had a great stay, hosting meals with 12 people, and exploring the many nearby attractions.

It was a beautiful area, great home with comfortable beds. Awesome dining table for family meals and card games! The dune sledding was a bit tough, but the kids had a blast at the water and along the trail.

We are often in Los Osos as our son and family live there. This home was perfect for a family gathering to celebrate a birthday and for relaxation between performances of a musical that our granddaughter was in.The home is beautiful and has all the amenities needed. The views are spectacular and the ping pong table was a great hit.We look forward to another stay!

This place is spectacular. It is large and spacious. Great views of the ocean from the common spaces in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen is one of the best equipped rentals we’ve ever used. Really close to some amazing hikes. We’re trying to figure out how to make this a yearly visit to this area and to this property.

I rented this beautiful home overlooking the pacific coast with 5 girlfriends. We brought a king sized air bed & had plenty of room to set it up. The house was spacious and accommodating. The kitchen was well equipped . Lots of places to roam, hike & explore. One small suggestion is to provide shampoo, conditioner & body wash in both bathrooms.

After learning that our kids’s school, as well as a big part of our community had fallen to the fires, our family was in need of hope and fresh air. We were so happy to come to this, a space where my husband and I could work while the kids ran amidst nature and fresh air. We absolutely loved our stay and time spent in this community. The house was beautiful and perfect for family of two grandparents, two parents, kids 4 and 8. Fantastic views in a wild place. It was well-stocked with all we needed. The location was convenient to beaches, the town and the state park up the road. We highly recommend this home.

I spend a few days at this property with my sisters and other family in June to celebrate my sister's birthday. The property was lovely, very clean, with fabulous views, and very much as advertised. The check-in was simple and well-explained and the host was great. We had a problem with the power on one day - related to the power company, not the property - and Cindy was very responsive, to our requests for information. I would definitely recommend this property.

House was beautiful with a well furnished kitchen for our family cooked meals. View was exceptional we could see humpback whales in the ocean breaching!! Hiked out to the beach every day and mountain biked, hiked, and birded in Montana de Oro. Perfect stay for us.

We spent the Christmas weekend here, and walked to the butterfly preserve (many monarchs), hiked around Morro Rock, did wine tasting in town, and really enjoyed the sites. We also cooked a feast on Christmas Eve, and the kitchen was truly one of the most well appointed kitchens I have experienced.

Loved the location close to hikes, Morro Bay, Cal Poly. Pismo, Cayucos and Paso Robles are just a little farther but still close. Quiet, calm, beautiful view on a sunny day. Renter downstairs but that was not a problem. Clean, kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, etc. We had an issue with a dripping faucet but it was addressed. Really appreciated that! Large dining table where we ate, played cards and board games. (Our only suggestion is that room could use a brighter/more light over the table). Ping pong table was fun! Saw deer, visited horses near by, took hikes, and soaked up the calm and quiet with a cup of coffee on the deck in the am. Beautiful view of the sunset over the water when the weather was clear. Definitely recommend!

A lovely spacious house that we enjoyed with many different relatives and ages throughout our week there. Beautiful views when the fog cleared out. Long walks on the beach each day and explored Los Osos, Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo. A great spot for a family with stores and bakery near by. You do need a car to get around but everything is close.

The house is amazing. Gorgeous views from nearly every room, with a great living room for togetherness time. We opted out of some of our outdoor activities to just stay at the home for longer an enjoy it. The beach seemed like a far hike/walk from the looks of the trail and view of the water, so we just drove to the state park instead which is right around the corner. Great spot, can't wait to book it again! (The ping pong table was a huge hit!)

This might be the best house rental I've ever had. Gorgeous views. Lovely interior space. I was a little apprehensive about the other lower unit but it was not an issue at all. We saw the tenant once on our way out one day. She was super pleasant and we couldn't hear each other between units at all. The only private feedback I gave the manager was around one lightbulb being out and a couple other minor issues not worth mentioning here. We will be back!

Had a great stay with three generations for my wife’s birthday week and the layout was perfect. We had some winter weather including wind, rain, hail, etc and awoke to snow on the hills across the bay. It was magical. The proximity to the park and Spooner’s Beach is pretty awesome. It’s a long walk to the beach from the house. We had a couple of maintenance things come up during our stay and Cindy was very responsive (I’ve been a property manager for 24 years and they did great). The kids enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage and lounging in the comfy chairs. Beds were very comfortable. The exterior needs some maintenance but the inside was in great shape. As others have said, the kitchen was very well equipped. Overall, it was a great stay and we’ll be back as soon as we can.

The layout is perfect and maximizes its location, nothing was spared in making this unique vacation proprty perfect for family and frends gathering and serves as a perfect jump off point to Morro Bay, Cambria and Pismo Beach for a holiday to remember.
