Maitai Bora Bora

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and offered a beautiful view from the balcony. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfasts were tasty and offered a sufficient variety of options, although we would have appreciated some fresh vegetables. We especially appreciated the opportunity to borrow snorkeling fins free of charge from the hotel's dive center by the beach. The ladies working there were absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The beach itself was pleasant and well maintained, and we also enjoyed several meals at the hotel restaurant, where the food was tasty.

The biggest disappointment, however, were the pillows. They were extremely hard, overstuffed, and very uncomfortable to sleep on. We woke up with significant neck pain each morning. Replacing them with softer, more supportive pillows would greatly improve the overall guest experience. The beach is located in a very small cove, and the reef close to the shore is rather limited and not particularly rich in marine life. Another small inconvenience was that the hotel restaurant always required reservations to be made well in advance, which reduced flexibility when deciding where and when to dine. Overall, however, these were minor drawbacks in an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Everything - top hotel on Bora Bora in the tourist class - it was light, airy, clean and had everything you could want. They also have a transfer from bora bora airport which saves you getting the standard air Tahiti boat. Nothing was too much trouble and they go out of their way to make you happy. The room was so lovely and they even left us a box of macarons in the fridge on our last day. This is the one to book if you are staying in Bora Bora

AMAZING!! Just stay here and you will see why. Absolutely loved our stay!! I took my Mother here for her birthday and the staff arranged a beautiful cake and got Polynesian performers to sing happy beautiful. Also…HUGE coral reef on the resort private beach that is insane for snorkelling. Trust me..this place is good. Also free kayak and snorkel hire. 🩵☀️🤙🏽

Great location walking distance to stunning matira beach, bora bora beach club, famous tattoo artist, many restaurants, Avis to rent a scooter, grocery store and pharmacy. The private beach for the resort has excellent snorkelling with coral nursery. Over the water bungalow was excellent value for money. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Ocean view from ocean view room was amazing.

The absolutely terrible internet. If you need to be connected to the internet and search, research, book things online, or work do not stay here. It didn’t work in the rooms at all and only barely at the reception (1Mbps) such a pain in the butt and highly annoying. For the prices we were paying per night to stay there it was totally unacceptable. The roosters in the morning when staying in the garden view room were also annoying when paying $400 AUD per night. The buffet breakfast was also really bland and average at best.
