La Siesta Salou Resort & Camping

The site is excellent - compact, plenty of greenery, and enough shade, and excellent facilities, especially the pool complex and sports facilities. The kids loved the pools, parks, trampolining, and the activities put on by the kid's club were well thought out and delivered with enthusiasm! The accommodation was great, well equipped, comfortable and quiet, and larger than previous sites we've visited. The shop, bakery, take away and poolside bar were all very useful and reasonably priced. We didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment on that. Location is very good, only two blocks from the beachfront, but yet the sure felt secluded and peaceful.

The park is advertised as "green" and "sustainable" but the recycling provisions are confusing. Recycling bins are next to the main car park but there aren't any clearly labelled recycling bins on the main site, meaning a lot of recycling didn't appear to be in the right place. Also, there could be more lifter picking at the site

Great location. Stayed in calibre plus cabin decent size has everything great air con.indoor pool and kids pool was good. Restaurant was really nice kids lived it always helps.

Takeaway wasn’t open every day but understandable considering it wasn’t high season.

Place itself is like botanical garden, and it’s located perfectly: close to shops and to the beach.

Bathroom: shower broken, rocking around. Hard to use. Kitchen: no oven which limits you a lot with cooking. But that makes you to go and buy a lunch from their buffet or caffe. Understandable but not for £2k a week. Aircon is dirty. It’s definitely wasn’t cleaned for a while. Terrace is small, tiny court about 4m2 Bungalow itself is like cardboard house: if you wake up in the night, everyone else is waking up with you. Disappointed as it doesn’t worth its money.
