La Siesta Salou Resort & Camping

Its an amazing resort and a complete paradise for kids. Its extremely well maintained, especially on the bungalow side. Excellent location and lovely, peaceful atmosphere throughout. The app is a great resource too!

Quite expensive to drink and eat at the bar although theres alternatives available on site once you figured out where everything was. The Havana bar was closed all week. Bed could have been a bit comfier and staff were a bit finniky on checkout about a few cups sitting on the kitchen. But clutching at straws. Still 10/10

Loved the location, and facilities. Very safe and comfortable for Children, plenty to do and fabulous setup if all you want to do is relax for the day.

Shop on site closed a little early from September onwards, so we got caught out the first time, but you plan ahead and you're fine.

The site is excellent - compact, plenty of greenery, and enough shade, and excellent facilities, especially the pool complex and sports facilities. The kids loved the pools, parks, trampolining, and the activities put on by the kid's club were well thought out and delivered with enthusiasm! The accommodation was great, well equipped, comfortable and quiet, and larger than previous sites we've visited. The shop, bakery, take away and poolside bar were all very useful and reasonably priced. We didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment on that. Location is very good, only two blocks from the beachfront, but yet the sure felt secluded and peaceful.

The park is advertised as "green" and "sustainable" but the recycling provisions are confusing. Recycling bins are next to the main car park but there aren't any clearly labelled recycling bins on the main site, meaning a lot of recycling didn't appear to be in the right place. Also, there could be more lifter picking at the site

Place itself is like botanical garden, and it’s located perfectly: close to shops and to the beach.

Bathroom: shower broken, rocking around. Hard to use. Kitchen: no oven which limits you a lot with cooking. But that makes you to go and buy a lunch from their buffet or caffe. Understandable but not for £2k a week. Aircon is dirty. It’s definitely wasn’t cleaned for a while. Terrace is small, tiny court about 4m2 Bungalow itself is like cardboard house: if you wake up in the night, everyone else is waking up with you. Disappointed as it doesn’t worth its money.
