Julija&Robert's Riverview Apartments and Rooms

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Ljubljana and next to the river, so everything was within easy walking distance. The apartment was also very clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. It had everything we needed, and the overall standard of cleanliness was very good.

The biggest issue for us was the lack of communication and information from the host. We hadn’t heard anything after booking and only received details the day before arrival after contacting Booking.com. Everything was eventually sorted, but we didn’t feel there was much effort to offer information, guidance or recommendations and the host was defensive when we challenged the lack of communication. The room and bathroom were also quite compact, and definitely not suitable for anyone who may be a bit larger, and I personally found the bed too firm. Also not much room to move around the bed, and you’re guaranteed to hit your leg off the sharp corners at least once. The shower was frustrating as the temperature kept changing between hot and cold. There is also no luggage storage available after check-out at 10am, so alternative arrangements have to be made. We had to source somewhere ourselves as no information was offered. Luckily there is a place called Bounce, around 6 minutes walk away. Overall, the apartment itself was adequate and very well located, but the lack of communication and hospitality, together with a few comfort issues, meant we probably wouldn’t choose to stay in this particular apartment again.
