Beachfront location with lovely sea views

Lovely sea views. Great location on the promenade, close to restaurants. Very walkable to and from the tram to Alicante thanks to the escalators that link the town centre to the beach front. We checked in at midday and we were delighted that our room was ready for us so early.

We were very unlucky with the weather. It rained a lot, but we can't blame the hotel for that.

Very enjoyable although only there for one night.

Car parking onsite invaluable and was able to book a space. Reception staff excellent. Had to leave before breakfast so a breakfast box was prepared for us.

All OK. Wi-Fi was difficult to get onto. Had to go back down to reception to get a code.

The breakfast is exceptional good, there are a lot of different meats, cheese, sweets, breads, drinks. The rooms with the sea view are excellent.

Pretty village, mediocre hotel

The location

Stark and soulless. No glasses to drink out of. No table on the balcony. At the time we booked a gym was advertised, but there is now no gym. Breakfast was adequate although the restaurant has a strange smell.

Location is absolutely perfect, right at the beach. Staff in the hotel were very friendly. Our room was clean with good sized toilet. but I have to say sparce. Breakfast was good.

Room was sparce and unwelcoming. No pictures on the wall, no kettle, no cups or glasses (we bought all three things locally), two paper cups each...shabby in my opinion.

Perfect location and Views.

Ideally located meters from a beautiful beach, with spectacular views from the large balcony. The building is well serviced and maintained and the rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a variety on offer.

We went in May and the hotel lacks a bit of life. I was also disappointed that you cannot hire beach/pool towels. You can go and buy some locally but the hotel is missing a trick by not renting towels.

Perfecf place to stay!! Beautiful views and comfy hotel!

It was fresh and bright, comfortable and well located. The food was good quality and plentiful.

Maybe it would have been nice to have had better coffee. It was quite sweet, but maybe that was the milk? It would also have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea in the evening before bed. It would also have been good to have hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or other items.

8,30 dinner is too late, we were told that the Spanish eat after sunset. But they can still eat later if they wish. We stayed at four hotels during this holiday and it was the only one with a 8.30 start, the rest were 7.30.

Hotel and Staff fantastic, the Manager needs to greatly improve his customer care

The Hotel, Staff and location are fantastic! The breakfast was also superb!

We didn’t like the evening meal, it was served cold and didn’t look very appetising, we did eat some the pasta starter but send the mains back, we then complained to reception! On check out of the Hotel the manager did not believe us that this meal was way below a good standard, after some discussion he eventually refunded us the cost of the meal! As the Hotel and staff are excellent this confrontation with the manager left us very upset!

The lack of facilities in the room. There are no tea/coffee making facilities and the Wi-Fi was patchy, which I can imagine being much worse if all the rooms are occupied. The evening meals didn’t have any options for non-meat eaters.

Good holiday all in all. thanks especially for the staff of Allon.

Food was arranged greatly and I was able to get hands on help for my allergy issue. Great thanks for that. Beds were good but the pillows could have been more soft and different shape. I understood when making the reservation that there is coffee or tea making faciltities in the room, but there were not.

Location and restaurant staff are great. All else was a huge disappointment.

Restaurant staff worked very hard and were very welcoming. The hotel location is superb. The lobby is fresh and bright.

Reception staff were the least welcoming I can ever remember meeting. Our bedroom was barely worthy of a 2 star, never mind a 4 star hotel. Room furniture was also very disappointing. Breakfast food not up to 4 star standard either.

Only its location and the view. Nice area, good bed, all very clean - not really anything else I can say. Think 3 star would be more correct for it.

No parking, absolutely no facilities - more like an Ibis hotel, breakfast was buffet - like one big cafeteria with hundreds of people. Went out most days, lovely places near by. Far to expensive. Had to park 20 minutes walk away as parking in hotel was full and the same with other car parks. Pool seems to be used by passing people not staying in the hotel. Had to walk to 5th floor most of the time as queues for the lift - good for exercise though - only way as didnt have a gym either.
