About this cottage rental
Romantic house in a quiet location in the mountains of the colline Metallifere with a central location and ideal starting point for excursions to the historical sights of Tuscany!
The house is secluded in a valley, surrounded by forest and two meadows.
On the ground floor there is a cozy living room with an open fireplace and a television with satellite reception, as well as a comfortably equipped kitchen.
A roofed outside staircase leads to the upper floor with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Here too, great value was placed on tasteful furnishings.
There is space for 4-5 people in the house. The hot water is heated with a solar system.
A very old, large and romantic vine arbor in front of the house provides the longed-for shade and offers enough space for breakfast or invites you to relax.
The brick outdoor grill and the vine arbor are surrounded by herb bushes (sage, rosemary, etc.)
General: Bed linen should be brought, otherwise everything you need is available in the kitchen and in the bathrooms!
There is a parking lot and shady spots.

Es handelt sich um ein wunderschönes Haus mitten in der Natur mit einem liebevoll angelegten Garten drumherum, gemauertem Grill und einem großen Pool zu Alleinnutzung. Wer - wie wir - gerne komplette Ruhe, Einsamkeit und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, für den ist es genau richtig. Zum Einkaufen (PAM Follonia, Entfernung ca. 30 -45 min.) oder Strand (Rimigliano, Punta Ala) min. 60-70 min.) sollte man eben die nötige Zeit mitbringen.
Für Ausflüge nach Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Arezzo, Montepulciano etc. ebenfalls (je nach Ziel 60 - 120 min.). Dennoch ist die Lage recht zentral.
Zudem ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Mountainbike-Touren. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.
Vielen Dank speziell an Michaela, die das Objekt ausgezeichnet verwaltet sowie an die Eigentümer (Fam. Wagenbreth), die wir am letzten Tag noch kurz persönlich kennenlernen durften.
PS (aufgrund anderer Bewertungen): ja, die Anfahrt zum Haus geht zwar über einen steilen Wald/Schotterweg, der aber mit einem "normalen" PKW problemlos zu befahren war (in unserem Fall 1 er BMW).

Super Haus in absoluter und traumhafter Alleinlage. Als Ausgleich zum hektischen Stadtleben ist dieses Ferienhaus genau richtig. Es bietet alles, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Der Pool ist traumhaft, der Garten mit Grill super!
Wir haben jeden Tag genossen und konnten auch viele Tiere beobachten.
Nach 3 Wochen fiel es uns schwer wieder abzureisen.
Auch vielen Dank an die nette Betreuung vor Ort (Michaela)!
Für uns war es ein rundum gelungener Urlaub an einem ganz besonderem Fleckchen Erde in der wunderschönen Toskana!

Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, abseits von jeglichen Trubel und sich in der Natur wohlfühlt ist hier genau richtig! Ein perfekt eingerichtetes Haus und ein grünes interessant angelegtes Grundstück mit einem großen Pool lässt keine Wünsche offen. Hier würde an alles gedacht. Die Gegend ist dünn besiedelt, rustikal und sehr Wildreich (viele Tierbeobachtungen möglich). Die Anfahrt ist etwas beschwerlich, aber dieses gesegnete Fleckchen Erde ist es auf jeden Fall wert.

Ein wirklich tolles Haus an dem es eigentlich nichts auszusetzen gibt. Sehr schöner Pool.
Es liegt abseits und sehr ruhig. Und da kommen die Einschränkungen zum Tragen. Leider wurde in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt dass das Haus mit dem Auto nicht zu erreichen ist. Stimmt so natürlich nicht das Haus ist erreichbar.. wenn man eine vollwertiges Offroad Fahrzeug besitzt.
Mit unserem -nur straßentauglichen- Audi blieb uns der Zufahrtsweg zum Haus versperrt. Wir mußten ca. 300Meter vom Haus entfernt mitten im Wald parken und das ganze Gepäck über unbefestigte, steil abfallende Geröllwege, mit bis zu 30cm tiefen Auswaschungen, zum Haus tragen. Ebenso alle Einkäufe die wir während des Urlaub zwangsläufig besorgen mußten (Selbsversorger).
Wenn man also einen Jeep hat ein durchaus lohnendes Urlaubsziel da es eine sehr schöne Gegend ist und auch die Entfernung zum Meer vertretbar ist.
