Cheap and cheerful and walking distance to the piste.

Basic hotel, basic parking, basic rooms (which had heavy sented sprays maybe to hide the smoking smell?), tasty breakfast, across the street and 100 meters from a ski lift to go up the mountain. Friendly front desk but it is only open in the morning and after 4pm. Cheap and cheerful.

Smoking smell in rooms. Parking was awkward. Not exactly ski in ski out as it says on the advert. Its 100 meter walk through parking lot and road, then across a busy road...not ideal for kids.

Cozy and friendly, with the best staff I have ever met!

The hotel is simple but very cozy, clean, and close to the ski slopes, so you can easily walk to the chair lift, which is great! Also, it has parking spots, making it one of the few hotel of the town with all these advantages together. However, the biggest "plus" of this hotel is the staff...they are very nice, open, always smiling, helpful and understanding. I do not have enough words to describe how great of an experience it was thanks to them

All was fine, the rooms are simple but they have everything that is needed and they are in perfect conditions. Even the sauna, although small, was a very nice surprise for us. I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Tarvisio - and I recommend Tarvisio, it is a very nice town

A very good skiing holiday

The hotel is conveniently located, near the ski area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good, especially the very fresh brioche. Hotel is rather basic but very good value for the money. It has everything you need for a nice skiing holiday.

Overall I had a pleasant stay overnight at this hotel in Tarvisio - stayed on 04 September whilst cycling the Alpe Adria route. No complains whatsoever and the hotel was clean and my room on the top floor was real nice. Great views from the toilet! Suspect the hotel may have recently been refurbished so it looked smart at time of my visit. Breakfast was sufficient and tasty but noticed the hotel ran out of rolls for those arriving at breakfast after me. Problem may have been sorted, I do not know.

The receptionist was quickly and told us the most necessary information. The room was large with a comfortable bed.

would never go again

I really don't know how this can be a 3 star hotel. it seems more like poorly managed airbnb. first of all, there is no check in at time range written in booking but they leave keys in the envelope outside at the windowsill (so technically anyone can grab them). there is no staff on site in the afternoon. there is no ventilation in the bathroom so the mold is everywhere. next to bed u got a socket but it is used by the small lamp so u can either charge ur phone or use the lamp... our socket was hanging from the wall, wires were visible... it is simply dangerous. oh I almost forgot, if u wish to have your towels changed u need to pay extra 5€ per change (which is a normal free of charge service in any other hotel). there supposed to be code protected doors but they were not working (u could open without code). for disabled people there is a "lift" that can slide them to the first floor but in order to reach it u need to first go through quite big step which seems ridiculous. parking spaces are private but on the street. pity that they only relly on the location but don't really care about quality or service.

breakfast was very bad, sewage smell all over the hotel and the rooms, radiator that does not work, shower that is broken, hotel personnel that is rude and not helpful. I forgot the ‘free wifi’, Non existent.

The breakfast was abundant and varied. There is also a hotel restaurant working in the eveneings and the food was very good (they have a great cook). Except for the male employee who was rude to us whene we were leaving, all other employees were nice. We also loved the location, which is just across the road from the ski resort.

The room we stayed in smelled of mold and a large wet and moldy stain could be seen on the wall behind the closet. Check in is at 4 p.m. and check out is at 9 a.m., which are quite unfavorable hours, they could extend the check-out time and allow earlier check-in. When we asked, if we could at least leave our luggage at the hotel while we ski (and until check-in), we didn't get a definitive answer. When we got to the hotel, it was locked and we had to leave all our luggage in the car. When we were there, it was also very cold (-15 degrees at night and -7 degrees Celsius during the day), and the hotel was not heated between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., so after skiing we were really cold and we came back to our cold rooms. The last day we had to check out at 9 a.m. and then we went skiing, when we were leaving at 2 p.m. and we knocked at the hotel and asked if we could use the toilet, the employee rudely dismissed us (saying that they were cleaning the toilets) and told us to go and find a the toilet somewhere else. Alll in all staying in the hotel was a dissappointing experience.

Ok, but I will not go there back again.

Good location as advertised.

The first night, electricity went out and the emergency light in the rooms went on making impossible to sleep further. After waiting about 1/2 hour for somebody to solve the issue (or try to), I called the contact phone, but nobody answered. I therefore decided to have a look at the switchers myself and I turned the electricity back on saving not only the sleep of the guests, but also the food and beverage in the fridges...Nobody ever returned my call nor a word of apologies... Also, we were told that there was the possibility to check in at 14h instead of 16h as officially communicated. However despite we arrived few minutes before 16h, the person at the reception was not there and when arrived just on time, she claimed that the check in is only at 16h.

Nice alps style house with small glitches

Nice house and bikes can be stored in a closed space for the night. Breakfast was OK. So many chocolate and grain bars, etc.

Ham and bread were not the freshest at breakfast. Bike storage was closed in the evening and we did not find anybody to open it
