Cosy hotel right in the city centre, from a stone's throw away from the Mariazell Basilica. Rooms seem to be new or freshly renovated, clean, and well-equipped. It is a great home base for exploring Mariazell and its surroundings. There is a beautiful lobby on the ground floor with a coffee place. I cannot comment on the breakfast, but I can on the great coffee. Welcoming atmosphere, good staff on site that I always value more than the actual rooms themselves. The place is better than the pure star rating I was expecting. Great value.

The bathroom shower felt a bit tight in terms of space for me. I had a small room as a solo traveller. Generally not a big deal. If you are looking for something that is really, really quiet, you wouldn't look for accommodations in the city center to begin with. I can imagine this place is quite busy, especially during Christmas.

They have made the most out of this centuries‑old building. The location is perfect, less than 50 meters from the main square and the church. The staff were attentive and provided detailed information about everything. A good choice in terms of value for money.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Excellent location, parking huge plus. Good breakfast. Very friendly service.
