Fantastic!

It was absolutely fantastic, and very well done. A hotel that just works, staff are intellengent, the layout is decent, the rooms are well sized, the breakfatst is great, and the LOCATION is excellent.

kids bed, not comfotable, too hard, like a table. Don't like canned/tinned water in room, bottles are better. Bathroom dor could be better, make it a proper door, not thin glass that doesn't close perfectly

Clean, very good atmosphere. Helpful staff who were sympathetic to my fear of using the elevator (claustrophobia) and changed my room to the lowest floor available and allowed me to use the staff stairs. I most grateful for that.

Just one gripe: At the bar, one day, I was offered olives. But, someone who ate from the bowl prior to me, had put back a partially eaten one back in the bowl with the other olives. They had not used the section of the bowl which is meant for waste. Bartender hadn’t noticed and wasn’t too concerned when I pointed it out. In the future, bowls should not be passed to customers without checking. Actually, they should not be passed around. Fresh bowls and olives per customer. It was an unfortunate incident because everything else was fine.

Hard Rock Marbella

The staff are great. The food is always great.

I burnt my wrist, second degree burns, when using the clothes steamer. There were no instructions with the steamer. The "warning" was obscured by the end attachment. I certainly didn't expect a burn of that degree with the briefest of contacts. There was no board to place the shirt on so I had to steam the shirt on a hanger, this was very awkward to complete. While I appreciate using a steamer horizontally is not practical, this is not a great option. When I presented my issue to the hotel staff I was given various item's to help clean and dress the burn, myself. As the skin was open and badly blistered I thought it might have been appropriate for the hotel to have a first aider have a look.

Great sunny stay at the Hard Rock Hotel

Great location, facilities around pools are excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable. Really loved all the memorabilia around the reception area. All the staff from reception to breakfast to round the pool were really helpful and friendly.

The hotel is very good and the upper pool is really fantastic and you can enjoy more in this pool more than the other main pool , the hotel always has full capacity that’s why I think staff always are too busy , the check in and out was very smooth and good , but the housekeeping services are not this much good plus if u have any issue to talk with the reception they are not really good to handle , some of reception staff they need more training to deal or to talk with the guests , and some are good enough !!! For breakfast they have very limited options for Muslim and sometimes they prepare your eggs for the same pan they used it for pork , the staff they should know the basic issue which well known in all hospitality service every where about Muslims’s meals preference !! Over all our stay was honestly good

Disappointing compared to previous stays

Pool area was nice and had good music and atmosphere.

Staff’s attitudes often rude and dismissive of any issues. We were put in the furthest possible room from the lifts and main areas of the hotel. And when we asked if it would be possible to move as I’d just recovered from a leg injury and the distance wasn’t ideal the response was rude and staff made no effort to try accommodate

Overpriced, unwelcoming and poorly managed

Location and pool bar staff were friendly but very busy

Check in experience awful and the staff were unwelcoming. Constantly chatted to other colleagues in Spanish and there was a lack of attention to the guests. When contacting the hotel prior to arrival, staff could not understand the queries.Rooms not thoroughly cleaned, dirty cups and glasses left on the side, balcony uncleaned for the duration of 4 night stay. Pool management did not have the skills or experience to handle rude and difficult guests who were rude and intimated junior members of staff - we witnessed them rewarding the guests by upgrading them to VIP pool beds! Ladies of the night were frequent visitors to the hotel bar, particularly on an evening. Spent almost €5k on 2 back to back stays. Still waiting for a response from the hotel and this will determine if we return. At this stage, we would not recommend the hotel. It was far better when it was the H10 Andalucía Plaza!

Hotel was first class

I was asked to pay significant nightly deposit of over £300 for short stay which I wasnt really aware of beforehand nor felt it was strictly necessary . I was told this would be refunded at end of stay relatively straight away . After a month , I discovered monies were not sent and then was only sent after I made contact . I had no real apology nor response to my request to complain to 3 rd party about issue . I have been effectively ignored despite chasing a response and would wish to take issue further based on principle .

It was clean, the pool and music was good.

Do not be fooled by a deluxe room. There is absolutely no difference in the room but you are guaranteed a pool view. That’s it. Even the tea and coffee isn’t replaced. Breakfast is average. Not enough staff around the pool. Food in pool area is poor. Some staff….guest relations and breakfast were quite rude, however most of the pool staff were friendly and over worked.

Tacky and rip off deposit charges - steer clear

Beds are comfy and the hotel is generally clean. Late check out at 12 is a plus. The staff seemed ok.

The hotel takes a “deposit” on your card and, having read the reviews about failure to return deposits, I worried the entire time that I won’t get it back any time soon. Looks like a sneaky way of making more money. Completely unacceptable! But the worse thing is the tacky atmosphere, guests and the intimidating atmosphere around the pool with banging music and drunken predatory men. Looks like a face full of plastic surgery and fake designer gear is a prerequisite for staying here. The hotel should make it clear this is not a place for families or anyone seeking rest and relaxation. In case you don’t know (as we didn’t) Puerto Banus is an absolute hell hole!
