Perfect solution for a overnight stop on a road trip

perfect no-frills solution for a overnight stop during a road trip. The Hotel is spotless clean, all facilities are in excellent shape, the personnel is friendly. The location is definitely not picturesque (do not choose this hotel for a romantic getaway :-)), but it's hard to bet if you are by car. 2 minutes from the highway, but still quiet. Parking in front of the hotel.

Handy place for a nights stopover.

Handy as a stopover on the way down the motorway. The room was small but adequate, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was included and was fresh and tasty.

it was cheap, restaurant was nice, restaurant menu was good, quality of dinner and dessert was good

What a disappointment

Clean comfortable room. Food was value for money.

The staff. We were told we couldn't sit in the bar/restaurant until 7pm. On previous visits we sat with a drink waiting for the restaurant to open. While all the staff ate their meal people who were diners only arrived and were left shaking the door trying to get in. Staff just laughed and left them standing outside. So totally different to our previous nights stay on Caen.

first room offered had stinky drains. the room we stayed in had a not very clean shower and bathroom was tiny. there were no towels in the room. we sought them from reception.

Hugely disappointing first visit to Ibis Styles and won't be returning.

Location near motorway. Good parking.

The idea that Ibis Styles was something special. It wasn't. Just a typical Ibis superficially tarted up. Room needed painting. Bathroom badly designed. Shower cubicle amazingly small. Room 11. It seems a bit of paint is an excuse to raise prices. The staff were not the best Ibis staff we have ever met. We have stayed in many Ibis hotels and always use them when travelling.

Good location, clean room, handy for the airport / motorway and town centre. Restaurant dinner was high quality even if the choice was limited. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

The car park gets full early and the spaces are quite small. I guess like all airport hotels.
