It was a disappointing experience.

The hotel's location is close to the beach and the main street.

The hotel rooms were old and worn down, with holes in the walls and patches in the bathroom, which was very small. There were towels on the balcony by the Air conditionerto stop the air conditioner from leaking water. The noise insulation was terrible — you could hear people in the hallways, using their toilets, or walking across their floors. The breakfast buffet was large, but it focused more on quantity than quality. On the first day, I was assigned a specific table (right by the entrance), and I was expected to sit there for the entire stay. It was a spot where everyone passed by, and where the staff insisted on vacuuming during the busiest hours in the morning? I only had breakfast at the hotel 2 out of 7 times; the rest of the days I ate elsewhere in town. This was my third stop on my summer trip to Italy, and I stayed seven nights at Hotel Royal. I’ve been coming to Bibione during the summer for the past 25 years — but this was my first and last time at this hotel. When you arrive, the first thing you see is a lounge area for smokers — what a welcome, meeting other guests in a cloud of smoke. Smoking was allowed throughout the pool area and the hotel café, even with children around. The hotel rooms are old and run-down, with very low water pressure from a leaky shower in the bathroom. The noise levels were very high. And dust for weeks on the lamps. All communication at the hotel was conducted in Italian (understandably) or German — and not in English.

Choose Hotel Royal

Excellent location and just on the water! The staff were very friendly, facilities were clean. The breakfast is world-class. Private parking was a big plus. Good price for 3 nights. Overall I had a very nice and relaxing stay! I highly recommend Hotel Royal to anybody visiting Bibione.

The only item, and not to the Hotel's discredit, is that you can hear other guests entering and exiting the rooms on the floor. It's quite loud and I woke up a few times during the night from doors slamming. This is minor, still an excellent stay.

Excellent location, great staff and value for money, but hotel is a bit out of date

Location was excellent and staff was very helpful and welcoming!

The rooms were not as refinished: some wires hanging from the wall, we had some issues with the tv and the aircon location was not great. Bathroom was also a bit outdated, but overall very good money for the location and service!

Lovely location in the midst of Spaggia Bibione - 2 minutes walk from the beach. Good Italian Breakfast 5 minutes walk away from the main strip.

A nice holiday in a great hotel

Everything was great. The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the beach, within easy reach of the pedestrian street. Very nice staff, delicious and varied foods, high level of cleanliness in the room and around the pool. We enjoyed every moment.

- We stayed there with a small child, and we were glad to see that this hotel is indeed child-friendly. They have playground, child swimming-pool, cot in the bedroom, high-chair and cutlery during dining etc. Everyone was patient and friendly with kids, and helped us with everything we asked for. Big thanks for that. - We booked a room with sea-view, and the balcony was spacious, separated from other balconies, also safe for kids. The view of the sea from there is amazing. - The hotel is and older building, but well-kept, good-looking and clean, with a nice garden, and sufficient parking space for cars. It's in the center part of Bibione beach, meaning that everything is within a few mins walk. - We had a strong, good quality safe in the hotel room to protect our valuables. - The bed was confortable. - The meals were of excellent quality, they had meals for kids and vegans as well. - The staff everywhere was friendly and helpful.

- The door and the balcony window in the room are of an older design, and did not really blocked louder noises from outside, they should upgrade it sometime. - The only problem we had was with the organization of the dinner. It was only available from 19 to 20.30, which is a quite short and rather early time for dinner. From a 4-star hotel we expected more flexibility in this regard. We also had to choose our menu during breakfast, however it happened more than once that our chosen dessert was not available by the time we asked for it. With some effort they could improve the current system for organizing dinner, as it fell short of the other services in this otherwise excellent hotel.

Did not meet our expectation

The hotel was old, but clean. The food was best. The hotel provided us an opportunity to have free of charge bicycles and buggy during the stay. Plenty of parking spaces. Nice outdoor and indoor playground.

The elevators were so slow. It took us so much waiting time. The bathroom slightly smelled. The service at the restaurant was ok. The restaurant manager did not communicate that clear on what we supposed to know when we ate in the restaurant. Once we asked them to accelerate bringing us the dishes because our daughter couldn't stay that long in the restaurant. It worked only a meal and the rest of the meals until the end of our stay was slow.

Insbesondere das Bad ist viel zu klein, es passt maximal eine Person hinein. In der Dusche kann man sich kaum bewegen und der Platz für die Toilette ist viel zu eng. Das Zimmer ist auch zu klein

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, der Balkon sehr nett. Frühstücksbuffet ausgezeichnet.

Ich war sehr zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt im Hotel Royal. Das Frühstück war gut und sehr umfangreich, auch das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet – das Buffet bot eine große und leckere Auswahl. Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, ich komme gerne wieder!

Das Zimmer war sauber und in Ordnung, allerdings etwas klein. Auch die Dusche war eher eng und am Waschbecken fehlte eine Ablage. Insgesamt aber trotzdem ok.

Schönes Hotel mit Toplage

Als Familie mit einem Kind bekamen wir ein Zimmer mit 4 Betten und einen großen Balkon mit seitlichem Meerblick. Die Zimmer waren etwas hellhörig. Das Frühstück war megatraumhaft mit einer riesigen Auswahl. Ein Koch bereitete frisch Omeletts oder Crêpes zu. Der Pool war sehr groß und hatte viele Liegen, die nicht von Gästen vorreserviert wurden. Der Parkplatz ist echt groß. Toll war auch der Fahrradverleih - bis jetzt eines der schönsten Bibione-Aufenthalte.

Was man beachten sollte: für den Pool braucht man seine eigenen Badehandtücher.
