The people in the office tried to be helpful, although communication was confusing. The location at the top corner of the building is great. There is a nice big balcony with seating for you to stare over and people watch. It is a good sized apartment in an older building. There was plenty of dishes and kitchen gadgets to use for preparing food. It is very good location close to the main drag, but night on the main drag so that you don't get overloaded with noise. Every closets had little extras like beach accessories, and other miscellaneous items. Little knick-knacks everywhere - someone had a fun spending spree at Ross. My honest review is that I was very disappointed upon my initial arrival, but I adjusted after a day and did enjoy my time in this space. I just wish it were cleaner. I am giving them an 8 overall out of general kindness, but please do some deep cleaning and get mattress pads.
The collecting of the keys upon arrival was confusing. The host was not answering the phone when we arrived at the office which is not at the same location as the apartment. I finally found someone in the hallway who worked for the management company. I asked her for help and she helped me up finally. The person doing the check-in was very sweet and kind, but professionalism and clarity could definitely be improved. The check-in process was kind of confusing, and they would not accept American Express even thought I had paid for the reservation using American Express. I was charged a $300 security deposit, plus $200 for a clicker and extra set of keys, and $90 for 3 days of parking. I was refunded the deposits a week after I departed. Upon initial arrival, the apartment was overwhelmingly scented with very strong plug-in air fresheners - it was really overwhelming. We had to seal them in plastic bags and open the doors and windows for 2 hours to air out. No screens on any of the doors or windows, seriously? The sink on the first bathroom leaked on the floor the first time we used it. Someone came the next day and supposedly fixed it, but it was turned off and we couldn't use it for the rest of the trip. Don't feel that the space was very clean, and there were absolutely no mattress pads on any of the beds, so we were sleeping on very thin sheets right on top of the mattress. The place was only broom clean, meaning that it is seriously past due for a deep cleaning. The oven was gross, grime in the corners, and the rugs and bathmats did not feel at all clean. The big sectional couch in the pictures posted by the host was not there, but instead there was a very small sofa and chair. We would rather have stretched out on the big sectional as that was responsible for us choosing this place. I think this place might be great for younger party oriented kids, but definitely not well suited for travelers over 40.

A localização é muito boa, de fato, central pra maioria das coisas, muuuuuito perto da praia e muuuuuito perto de excelentes restaurantes.
A acomodação é muito barulhenta. Entendemos que South beach é badalada e batulhente, mas as janelas não isolam nada (da pra ouvir o semáforo da rua). Uma das gavetas do banheiro estava solta, caiu no pé de um das pessoas da família e ainda sim fomos cobrados por "danos". Nós aliviaram da tarifa do late checkin mas depois nos cobraram a gaveta. A porta do apartamento é horrível pra abrir.
